“I have been here 5 times now both pick up and sit down. The food has been amazing and the atmosphere is great. The inside is very very clean. I do not like writing negative reviews however the service in person is great but over the phone 1 star would be to much. Both times i ordered over the phone it was very very rushed and I could hardly get a question in. This most recent time the phone call was so rushed and with the language barrier we misunderstood each other. I know that can happen and it is what it is. When i showed up i noticed my order had additional items that i did not ask for. When I told the gentleman i did not ask for them I got the worst attitude and he got so mad. When i said I'm not sure what happened but sorry he snapped at me saying I should have listened better. Normally I would have said whatever and taken the additional items if they are small however it was 3 more things of ramen. I still tipped 20% because maybe he was having a bad day and not tipping is just rude. When he came back after he removed the other items my food was basically thrown at me. I didn't check it and when i got home one of the lids was off and half of the broth leaked out. I was really enjoying a ramen place being so close and i was sending all my friends there. However reguardless of how good their dumplings are i may just drive the extra 20 minutes somewhere else.“

“We went to celebrate my sister's birthday last Sunday. I really dont do Italian, but this restaurant was ok. The service was phenomenal. The owner and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The appetizers were okay. The disappointment started with the calamari they just served rings, no tentacles, and they were overcooked and chewy. The crab cake was decent, but they should use a lump crab for the price. The linguine and clams were awesome. I enjoyed the fresh pasta. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. In addition to a well rounded menu there always are wonderful specials. We have never had a meal that we didn't like. The chef is inventive and steps outside of the ordinary with fish and meat selections. The only negative is that the acoustics are dreadful making it noisy when the restaurant fills up.Also the tables for two are small.“
“Under new ownership! We stopped in for a meal and I ended up being highly satisfied, started with bread and an oil garlic and herb did, that had a lot of aroma and fine taste. Bread was hard shell soft inside perfect to soak up the oil. We ordered espresso martinis that were excellent in taste! Then the salad, great color to the greens and crunchy croutons with a great Cesar dressing. The meals Fra Diablo calamari in spaghetti and a shrimp and scallop special with broccoli rabe cooked with knowledge and heart. Finish with a Sauvignon Blanc. There was a bit of road noise and no view of the water but the music was nice and there is a choice between high top, regular and stools all outside.The staff was nice and attentive to the table. There was a bit of a mishap with my meal but they did the best they could to make it right. I only with they told me before my meal came out.I loved the salmon meal! The salmon was tender and juicy and the cream sauce with the veggie combo was the perfect pairing. I only with I got the rice that was listed. I did get to try the onion rings in place of the rice and they were so thick and nicely breaded. They were the best and biggest onion rings I have ever had!The New England clam chowder was more of a Manhattan style with its red sauce base but it was unique with good flavor.The portions except for the cheese pizza were large. The fish sandwich and the fish plate both had about the same large quantity of fish.The menu was large and had lots of options. It was a bit different than what was posted online but it looked like there were some nightly specials. I did really want to try the tacos. “We decided to try The Smithy for our anniversary dinner out. It has kind of an up to date 70’s steakhouse vibe. It’s one of a dying breed that still has the old school salad bar that’s included with your meal. It had a nice steakhouse menu with a nice variety of selections. I got the French onion soup starter. The flavor was good, but I don’t think the cheese was Gruyère that is what’s supposed to be used, I’m pretty sure it was mozzarella. For our Entrees I had the porterhouse and my wife had the filet. Both were cooked perfectly to perfection to a nice medium rare. Both came with a baked potato that was cooked perfectly as well. The only knock I have on the potato is the up-charge for the bacon and chives of $2 each. Especially when you can get bacon bits included with the salad bar and the amount of chives were negligible. We decided to have the brownie sundae for dessert and that was a nice throwback too. The waiter said they had a good cappuccino so we gave those a try with the dessert. We were kind of disappointed with those as well as they were basically instant coffee with some cream and topped with whipped cream, not a cappuccino. Overall the food was very good. Our waiter was very helpful, personable and friendly as well so that was nice.This was a very nice steakhouse with great food. It has a few areas that could be improved on a little bit, but the good far outweighs any negatives (I won’t say bads here).I would happily go back again.“
