“The grill is closed after 5pm, and I stopped there a little after 6pm and got a Mexicali wrap, which doesn't seem to be listed on the online menus but seems to be similar to the Santa Fe as listed. That was so incredibly good after my 4 1/2-mile hike in HLSP that I want to take a photo of what's in it next time I stop in so I can try making it myself. I could eat those Mexicali wraps all day. They have a good beer selection too.“

“Alondra's is a fairly new restaurant in Middletown. It is a Mexican restaurant with most of the usual Mexican entrees. Instead, we ordered from the Special Entrees: Tres Amigos Platter and the Salmon Azado. Both selections were excellent. The Tres Amigos Platter has three main items: steak, shrimp, and chorizo. Also, the sides were guacamole, fried onions, and cactus. The chorizo, steak, and shrimp were plentiful and tasted very good. The fried onions, guacamole, cactus, and fried onions were excellent. The salmon was grilled perfectly and tasted very good. It was moist and flaky. The sides were black beans, rice, and a salad. We had leftovers for the next day. We would have rated Alondra's a five but we were disappointed that the restaurant did not list the price for a glass of wine. When we ordered the wine, the amount of wine in the glass did not justify the price of the wine. The restaurant has two entrances: one on King Street and the other on North Street. The restaurant is located a few stores from Franklin Square, the main downtown intersection of North Street and Main Street. Parking is available in the lot on James Street, at the rear of the restaurant.“

“OMG My son and I decided to try the NEW Borderline Deli today. Wow what a difference from the old. Friendly, clean and the subs are to die for. Fresh and HUGE ! Our new go to place. The cost is less than that sandwich chain in town and you are getting triple the meat ( Boars Head ). Be sure to take a drive and try them. Support our local entrepreneurs. You'll be glad you did. “The quality of the food is really good as well as the quantity! management is ok. However when they provide the amount that you owe, it should stay that amount when you pay! I got charged an extra 20 cents on my card after the transaction was taken. And the prices, the prices are never the same when I go to buy things! There is always a change in price, almost as if the people in the deli are charging whatever they want individually. Have a set price for things! Other than that, no complaints.“

“The BEST sandwiches in Middletown! Reminds me of the ones I used to get back in the city. Lots of thinly shaved meat piled high with just the right amount of shredded lettuce, and thinly sliced onions! The bread is always fresh, and the sandwiches never disappoint. They also take cards now, so no need to get cash first. Super friendly as well.“

“One of the greatest delis in the area & just like the title States it's at the corner of Ski Run and Burlingham Rds, across the street from the post office. Call ahead to have your order placed as to make your short stop that much quicker if time is an issue. Great food and the deli meats are always fresh“

“Excellent place for bagels and breakfast. Good variety and bagels are soft. Both savoury bagels and sweet, i.e cream cheese bagels are really good. A lot of regulars that patronise the shop. Cinnamon bagel & strawberry cream cheese is super yummy! Service staff is really friendly and swift in managing crowd and variety of orders. :)“
