“I couldn't decide what I was hungry for when I entered the store. I walked around then left. A lovely person came out to see what was up. I told her & we walked back into the store. I roamed around again & finally ordered a BLT. One of the BEST ever. Was it about making a sale? Sure, it's a business, but a business with heart. We have so appreciated their return to Claverack & especially love the pastries. The eggplant parmigiana is also really good. But that BLT?! ?“

“I needed some dessert for a last minute birthday dinner. I have never been to or even heard of The little Bake shop but with a quick Google search they were the only ones that were open a little later in the afternoon. I decided to stop in to see if they had anything I could bring and I was able to buy an entire raspberry cheesecake and freshly made creampuffs. Everything was absolutely incredible! fresh, creamy and delicious not to mention the prices were very affordable! I will definitely be back!“

“Incredibly friendly staff. My husband is a hot fried chicken sandwich junkie and he said BH's was the best he's ever had. Didn't think I would ever write a review about a salad but just wow! The seasonal (greens, walnuts, apples, cheddar, etc.) with a lemon vin was so amazingly tasty, fresh, clean and filling. It was so big it took of us to finish. I have biscuits for tomorrow morning and they look delicious. Seating might be an issue at prime times - we were incredibly lucky to have a picture perfect late fall day with abundant sunshine so we grabbed a picnic table (they bring the food out to you). The line was a bit long but it moved quickly. You can definitely tell who's local and who's got an attitude and thinks locals are rubes. Just ignore them, shoo away their negativity and enjoy a beautiful day with kind people and delicious food.“

“The food was absolutely outstanding. The leeks in the croque madame were a really nice and delicate touch.
The French Toast is unbelievable! The inside is so soft and custard like with a hint of lemon and vanilla.
The curried lentils are really good too.
The young lady helping us was very kind and sweet and made some great recommendations!“
