“I heard good things before and was traveling through so i decided to stop.Glad I did, the slices looked good but nothing spoke to me so I got a small meatball sub. After crushing the first half I decided I needed to take a pic and leave a review. It was that good. I imagine anything with the red sauce will be choice because it's delicious.Service was great and the food came out really fast.“

“Even though we were really looking forward to our first visit to Tavolo - it was a little disappointing. The service was good (not great) and it’s a pleasant vibe - we sat outdoors - but the traffic along Genesee St takes away from the overall experience. My feeling is that at a higher end restaurant service should be near perfect and the food should be mind blowingly good, which was not the case on either count. We shared their Utica style greens (our server told us that they’re the inventor of that dish) and were super happy. Great flavor, nice spice and kick, as expected. Our meals weren’t as good as we would have hoped. I had their NY strip steak and it was grizzly, although flavored properly. My wife had their shrimp and salmon meal and while she said the shrimp was really good; she also thought the salmon was lacking overall. It could be we caught them on a bad night - it happens. But in the overall it was less than expected compared to what we had hoped for. Perhaps another visit will be better.“

“It was the best of pizzas. It was the worst of pizzas. Two pizzas were ordered; a NY style large meatball and a plain upside down pie. The NY pie was not very good. The crust was so thin, there was no chew. All crisp and no chew. No layer between the crispy bottom and the wet, saucy side. Cracked and crumbled when folded. The ratio of crust to cheese to sauce was off. Baked on a screen. WAY too much gooey, non-snapping cheese. The outer crust had no chew to it and was too airy and light. Sauce was on point and meatballs were excellent. And, 16" isn't really a large in a REAL NY pizzeria. 18" is the NY standard. Then came the big save; the upside down or Utica pie. It was truly excellent. Probably pretty much the same ingredients as their NY style pizza, but WAY better in a different form. I ate it hot. I ate it at room temperature. Each bite was a flavorgasm. So, skip their NY style pie which is mediocre at best and order something memorable.“

“Grabbed a half order of sausage riggies for lunch. Wow. Enough for 2 people twice. Huge portion. Taste great too. Can't get much for $11 these days, check em out. They have chicken, sausage or meatball riggies for $11, or shrimp lobster steak for $12. Comes with cheese garlic bread “

“I ordered take out here. The pizza was pretty good. The crust was good and the sauce is sweet tasting. They used a great amount of cheese on the pizzas. I personally prefer my wings to be saucier and more greasy/buttery but the meat quality was good.“

“Is there anything else to say beyond everything is delicious? We got a lot of food: honey hot chicken, regular chicken, collard greens, candied yams, macaroni and cheese (my absolute favorite), shrimp tacos, vanilla cake. Every. Single. Thing. Was. Amazing! We’ll definitely be going back!“

“We went to this Pizza Hut cuz the one in Rome had the dining room closed. Explained to Sean about our gluten-free cheese sticks made from a gluten-free pizza crust with cheese and the seasonings. He accepted the challenge and came out victorious. The cheese sticks were perfect, nice and crisp and our pizzas were perfect too just the way we ordered them. Thank you, SeanDietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“We stopped here for drinks a few years ago and it was the typical upstate bar-loud, little aesthetic and muffled theme. We stopped for a drink before dinner and it was a pleasant surprise. I’m big on aesthetic and service to detail. Comfortable seating, knowledgeable bartenders, proper glasses etc are important to me-they did not disappoint. They apparently remodeled a few months ago and there was intimate seating, reasonable noise level and bartenders that delivers on making good cocktails in the “proper” glass. If your over 60 and are looking to take the quests out for a drink where you can have an actual conversation this place may deliver. As an addendum, we see there at 5:30-6:40. The dynamics may change at later hours based on the demographic- time will tell. Well done on the remodel and I wish you success, we will be back if it remains an “adult” bar.“

“Excellent pizzas late night drive in dive or call in. Laurey is a beautiful soul on her game of making homemade NY Pizzas, Wings & many other things. I don't drink sodas so I had a bottle of birch beer and it was very tasty like root beer. I ordered a large pizza with mushrooms pepperoni & chovies it was superb!!! yum !!! I'm usually not a bread stick person so next time it's wings and things“

“This place is AMAZING! Not only was the food delicious (Their wings, pizza and specialty salads are phenomenal!) and the prices very reasonable, the staff was also very accommodating to our large group. We had let them know we would be coming there after the American Heart Walk this past weekend and they had three large tables waiting for us when we arrived! We also found being able to order ahead online worked wonderfully for those of us pressed for time. (Others ordered when they arrived and also found their orders were filled in a timely manner.) EVERYONE was pleased with their food! We plan to make this our regular gathering place to meet at after future Heart Walks. THANK YOU!!!“

“Last time we went, ordered 3 subs.2 were supposed to be mixed, 1 roast beef.We recieved 2 roast beef - in which some people don't eat beef as their culture. The other roast beef sub had huge gobs of mayo on it & hardly any meat. The 3rd sub was made fine. When I called about the sub they wanted me to bring it all the way back there to have one remade. So not only went without lunch from somewhere I wasn't able to leave, but wanted me to go out of my way for 45 mins+ to possibly have another screw up? No thanks...They have been inconsistent since the take over & is definitely not what it used to be.Done.“

“Nice place, with a motocross track on site which is cool. The bar is pretty cool and rustic, with a nice u-shape bar. The bar tenders were very attentive and friendly during a busy day. The food needs some doing, I’m sorry but it was pretty terrible even for bar food lol.“
