“Nice place, with a motocross track on site which is cool. The bar is pretty cool and rustic, with a nice u-shape bar. The bar tenders were very attentive and friendly during a busy day. The food needs some doing, I’m sorry but it was pretty terrible even for bar food lol.”

“Wonderful food and even nicer people. Spent a weekend in the Utica area and decided to stop here for lunch. We felt like we were having lunch with family. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Ended up ordering the lamb gyro and the salad with chicken shawarma. Both dishes were delicious and very fresh. The owner, Layla, offered us coffee that was rich and tasty. It is very difficult to replicate the kind of service you find here. We would not hesitate to come back again if we were in the area.”

“Lafa is always consistently delicious and I would recommend it to anyone! I love to make my own salad/grain bowl and load it up with my favorites. The fried chicken is the bomb, the bao buns are amazing, the gyoza is delicious, I could honestly list the entire menu it's all so good and they have the BEST fruit slushies and boba teas. The guys working are always super friendly and get the food out fast, hot and fresh. I seriously love Nanabi!”

Its a one man show and Jeff is fun the whole while he runs it.Its charm comes from.it being a 1 man operations and because he does it so well he earns a 5 star for being unique!I want to explain my 5 stars for atmosphere becasue it would be harder for you to find a smaller place however that again adds to the charm.I love this place!”

“Our server was extremely kind. The duck was good. Cherry sauce with the duck amazing. The steak was so under done it was purple and so tough I could barley cut through it let alone chew it. I had two bites. I felt to bed to speak up because the server was so friendly and busy bartending. Not worth the $154 for two people. My husband loved their new galette appetizer.”

I was initially going for a double, but then I saw they have affogato, vanilla ice cream with coffee, so I ended up with a single and a dessert (AND a spinach pastry). “Our first time going here and it surely won't be our last. Four of us went and were seated quick. Waitress came right over and took our drink order and brought menus. We asked her questions about the dinner items and her suggestions were perfect. Service was great and the food tasted fantastic. Food was plentiful and we brought leftovers home. This restaurant is a must go to if you love great well prepared Mexican food. And for entertainment they have a robot food carrier, a first for me to see. We all really enjoyed our meals, which I also thought was extremely fair priced. We will definitely be back.”

“What a tremendous restaurant. We were staying in Clinton for the first time, and stumbled upon it. Just a fabulous meal, service, and ambience. Everything from the authentic sourdough bread, cider donut bread pudding was extremely memorable. We happen to be in there on St. Patrick's Day weekend, so while I don't think you'll be able to enjoy the corn beef on a regular basis, if it's any indication of the regular menu, it was stupendous. Not to mention the fact that the drinks were generous and we really appreciated the warm yet. Updated ambience. Kind of like, having a great babysitter, or Electrician. I hate to recommend Nola's too highly because I'm afraid we won't be able to just pop in next time. I would suggest reservations. Highly recommended.”

“This place serves the best food in town, and the owner is the most lovely person here. I visited a couple months ago on a long-distance bike trip with my partner, and we stumbled across Sazon Frank in Utica and it was, by far, the BEST meal we've had - the spicy stew chicken is delicious. It's a hot bar with plenty of options and you won't leave hungry, that's for sure. The owner is so sweet and you will leave with a happy belly and a happy soul! Thank you so much!”

“Stopped in here after a run on the canal trail. We had 2 pepperoni slices and hot wings. Both were excellent. Pizza is NY style with a perfect crust. Wings were crispy, hot, and well seasoned.”

“Outstanding food, ordered to go and I've never had Chinese like it anywhere in Utica, Rome, Syracuse! Hidden gem for sure. Pricing is very reasonable! Sweet and sour chicken is dipped in a delicate tempura and fried to perfection vs every other out of the freezer gooey over breaded samplings at other restaurants. The chicken is juicy and tender. I can't say enough of how much better it is than other Chinese take out. The in restaurant seating was packed and now I know why! It is now my go to restaurant for sushi and Asian preparations!”

“I had been to Nail Creek many times, but never had anything to eat. This time, I went for lunch and got the lunch special which was a hot dog with white beef chili on top alongside fries. It was absolutely delicious and I hope it's a special again next time I'm in. My friend got shrimp tacos and was equally satisfied with her choice. They have a great draft selection, with something for everyone, and service was great. The bartenders are super friendly. The place itself has an old charm to it while still seeming modern, is clean and well-maintained. I definitely want to go back for their brunch menu!”
