“My wife and I have heard about this place. We live in Cooperstown,NY. Our friends kept mentioning that they were there and how great it is, so today we set out to see for ourselves. We finally found it, way up on top of a hill in West Windfield. When we got inside, it was an amazing atmosphere!! A really nice brew/pub, with a big menu . We had double cheese pizza with real vegetables and a dozen of their medium hot wings, w/ bleu cheeze and celery :) It happened to be raining while we were there, and with the sun shining from the west, we saw the most wonderful rainbow!! By the way,I had two "October fest" beers, so wife drove home!!!”
“I heard good things before and was traveling through so i decided to stop.Glad I did, the slices looked good but nothing spoke to me so I got a small meatball sub. After crushing the first half I decided I needed to take a pic and leave a review. It was that good. I imagine anything with the red sauce will be choice because it's delicious.Service was great and the food came out really fast.”
“The sub I had was very good it was a 6 in on Urban cheese it was a ham with the lettuce green pepper banana pepper provolone and onions and then honey mustard I was very good I didn't have it toasted the bread was a little hard so it was very crumbly but I thought the bread was very soft and delicious I thought the sandwich was made very well the lettuce was I'm shredded very good I'm not like some places where they don't shred their lettuce good the sandwich I thought was very good it was a Subway that was in a convenience store the it had a plastic shield over the counter to protect the person on the other side I thought they did a very nice job with that I would recommend that for all your stores cuz it protects not only the person getting the sandwich but also the person behind behind the the person behind I'm making a sandwich if the people at your convenience stores I would recommend that I also got some chocolate chip cookies on the chocolate chip cookies were very good right where the chocolate chip were what it was like a little soft so it was very chewy even though the outside was a little crunchy but the inside was still very very chewy and very delicious so I give your restaurant a I give you a restaurant I would have liked my Urban cheese a little more tender but I give you a restaurantI would say about 28 Stars I would hope that everyone be well and take care”
“Hadn't been back in 40 years and I was very impressed new owners and renovated with new windows put in .Excellent service, food and still have mile high pies for dessert!!!!! Prices are excellent especially for today's world. If you've never been, make a point to add to your bucket list. Hidden Gem ? ✨️ ?Kid-friendliness: Charming place for allWheelchair accessibility: Easy access”
“This diner serves excellent food. The service is also gold standard. Both the eggs Benedict and omelette were cooked perfect and tasted great. The menu is very diverse.”
“Nice place, with a motocross track on site which is cool. The bar is pretty cool and rustic, with a nice u-shape bar. The bar tenders were very attentive and friendly during a busy day. The food needs some doing, I’m sorry but it was pretty terrible even for bar food lol.”
“I haven't had Brass Tack in years. My first experience was amazing so I decided to give it another go and was not disappointed. One of the best seafood restaurants in the area. The breads are nice and soft, the greens are on point, the fish is perfectly tender. The tenderloin tunnel is an honorable mention. Susan's haddock is my favorite thing on the menu so far.”
“i think this is the best diner hands down in the area. The food is cooked properly, no burnt rubbery eggs, Flavor profile is amazing on all the dishes. Great fast and friendly service!!”
“Only have been there once recently and their service was excellent, so very friendly ,great atmosphere, and fish fry was excellent along with the sweet potato fries !!!”
“The best Italian food one could ask for. Home cooked & family owned. It doesn’t get much better than Primos. Their Joeys pizza & grama C subs i could eat daily. Its so cozy and clean inside, friendly staff.”
“I just love this little store! The young lady that owns this place is awesome! If you love yummy home cooked food this is your go-to place! She is a straight shooter and the truthful hilarious entertainment that you will encounter will not be forgotten and you might learn a thing or two!! Hahaha...???”
“My adult daughter and I just spent the most glorious New Year’s Eve at the Horned Dorset Inn. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Roberta, the proprietor. She gave us a tour of her beautiful B & B that is so meticulously decorated yet so homey and comfortable. Roberta answered all of our questions and we were on our way to enjoy the Munson Museum and GlimmerNights at the Farmers Museum in Cooperstown-each a reasonable drive from the Horned Dorset. Our room was just beautiful—so much to experience in the way of furnishings along with an amazingly comfortable bed. The next day, New Year’s Eve, we drove to Colgate University’s lovely campus and then saw a movie in town. We returned to the Horned Dorset to rest up for our six-course meal at their own restaurant. What an experience!! The venue is lovely. We were invited to look around and to visit the artist colony exhibit upstairs. The food was beyond amazing-not enough space here to do it justice. The chef and staff were professional yet friendly and bent over backwards to ensure every guests’ needs were met. Both mornings, my daughter and I were greeted by Roberta and/or Kingsley. They made us a wonderful breakfast and we had such interesting conversation. This mini vacation turned into a peaceful respite as we enjoyed the inn and the surrounding areas. I couldn’t imagine a better way to start 2024!!”
“Hometown place that does it right. The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently good. We have never had a bad meal or take out experience here.Parking: Parking is limited”
“I believe there's some history to this place beyond what it is now, which is a warm, quaint, welcoming local watering hole. When me and my family first moved here and I walked into "Town" to find us a late night snack., I found out the unpleasant news about the lack of options for food establishment's and especially after 8pm. By the way I learned this information out from the friendly bartender wrapping up her night shift with a last minute smoke, a guilty pleasure we both shared unfortunately lol. Long story short they offered to turn the grill back on and make me something to bring home for my newly moved in family even though they shut down for the night. They gave me some friendly advice about the local folk which over 1.5 yrs later is still true, and I went on my way and have frequented them since for a nightcap. Only thing I'd say on improving or should say just adding, would be the ability to pay by credit/debit card at the register/bar. Instead there's an ATM which is more costly to the customer as well as inconvenient for the purposes of buying a few drinks, especially if you wanted to use a credit card.. They basically give away Square ® nowadays with all the promos and such.. Just something to think about before summer rolls around ya know. But thanks . ?”
“I had breakfast and it was amazing. I never eat all my breakfast when we go out because I'm not really a breakfast person but I ate everything on my plate that day. The prices are amazing and you get a plate full. I loved it and will definitely be going back for the dinner next.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“It’s one of the best places to eat around here. The cedarville burger is to die for. The homemade chips are awesome and the peanut butter pie is delicious. Christine has done a really great job with it and she is always so nice! Check them out you won’t be disappointed.”
“We had the fish Fry with macaroni and cheese. Salad bar had lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red onions, croutons, black olives. Plus, coleslaw, cottage cheese, crab salad and soup. Bread with dinner. Lightly breaded fish, cooked to perfection. All was very good!! (We were too full for dessert.☹)”
“Total hole in the wall bar. Walk in and I am shocked with what we see. Dollar bills on every wall & ceiling. Write a note on the dollar bill and pin it to the wall. This historic spot is a definite stop for all visitors. It's a really cool, tiny place to grab a drink and relax”
“Best ice cream in town! Long lines when it's really hot but otherwise pretty quick service. Plenty of parking in the back but not really anywhere to sit and enjoy your ice cream other than your car.”
“This was my 1st time going there. I was very impressed! The waitress/bartender was very nice and fast service. It was clean. I had their special of the day which was chili. It was phenomenal. Like write home to your mama good ?☺??”
“We were camping when a huge thunderstorm decided to hit the area. Thunder, lightening, hail, the works basically making it so we couldn’t cook anything. So we searched for a diner and found Kylie’s. Dinner was good (had us coming back the next day before we left) but guys breakfast was phenomenal. I love pancakes. Love them and these were so fluffy! Everything was reasonably priced and the cow decorations were just cute. When I’m back in the area I plan on making a stop again. Service was great to super friendly and welcoming.”
