“We had a joyous birthday celebration at my son’s favorite restaurant. Akanomi’s staff and sushi chefs, itamae, excelled at all endeavors. Vivan was spot on with her suggestions and service. She anticipated all of our needs, especially with our children. The chicken soba soup, tuna carpaccio and Hawaii Rolls were our favorites. Then the sashimi / sushi mixed roll party docked. It was stunning in presentation, offerings and taste. Oh my, it was very impressive. A most wonderful time was had by all.“

“This was my first time trying smoked salmon and it was so delicious!!! It melted like butter to the bite. Create Your Own Salad: Chicken Breast, Smoked Salmon, Smoked Bacon, Avocado, Mesclun mix, Carrots, Corn, Cucumbers, Grape Tomatoes, Red Onions, Shallots dressed with Chipotle Aioli (sauce). I sadly forgot to take pictures of the Honeydew Bubble Tea (24oz ice) with Strawberry Boba and the Wild Berries Crepe (regular with extra Pocky Sticks. I was so caught up eating the salad that by then I forgot my crepe & tea in the fridge. Lol. The crepe is "Sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, vanilla custard cream, whipped yogurt, chocolate pearls, granola." It is so fruity, bright and very creamy! The entire meal was fulfilling and good food.“

The restaurant is nicely styled and comfortable. The greeters and wait staff couldn't have been kinder or more professional. $28.99 is worth every penny just for that. The longest we had to wait between orders was no more than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, perfectly presented and absolutely delicious! I really can't find the superlatives to describe it. “The food is delicious! The boba tea (I got Taro) is not too sweet, but a perfect balance. The boba (tapioca pearls) were flavorful too. The ramen soup is scrumptious. So many different flavors. I can’t fit it all in, great portions. The pork is juicy and crispy and flavorful. Eggs are perfectly cooked. This was my second time here, getting the same thing, because it’s so good! It was a little on the expensive side (12.50 for the pork ramen, 6.50 for the boba) overall, 5 stars.“

“I ordered a hibachi chicken, which allows you to choose fried rice and fried noodles freely. I chose fried rice. You can also choose half fried rice and half fried noodles, which is simply great. The portion is large, and the chicken is surrounded by juice and is simply delicious. The staff is very kind and warm. Come and try something else next time. They also have sushi and poke bowl.“
