“This place is really chill and the bathrooms are always clean. Never seen a fight or large noisy crowds here. If you are 25 and older and just want to listen to some music and talk with your friends this is the place to go! Never tried any food here, I actually don't know if they have food, but it is the perfect hang out spot!
Parking: There are places to park right out front, no garage. But this place isn't usually jam packed so there should be enough room to park.“

“We (six of us) loved our dinners at Smiths earlier this month and our waiter, Jeff, did a superb job for a busy night after a Cohoes Music Hall show. Appetizers were also excellent and we enjoyed them at that fantastic bar!!“

“Parking is usually easy to find on the street when I stop here. The bar has a clean and inviting atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The cocktails are always good. I love that they have one or two hard ciders on tap. There are plenty of beers on tap to choose from.
The bar food is always spot on. Fresh and tasty. Plus I enjoy the rotating seasonal food offerings.
There are games upstairs to explore.
In cooperating weather the patio is nice to take advantage of.
I enjoy meeting my friends here for some good laughs, drinks and food.“

“In town for a little bit just was driving by and saw New York rangers flying out front. I'm a rangers fan and the game was on at 7:00. I went in there at 6:30 sat at the bar bartender put on the anger game and was very attentive. Great service. I didn't ask his name but he handled the whole bar. Good people. No craziness. Ordered a Heineken onion rings which both were fantastic. Look I'm mostly interested in good servers and someone that's smiling and that's what I got. The bar stools were far enough apart where you weren't hitting shoulders or elbows with other people who's good nice hometown bar. I miss it. I live in Scottsdale most of the year and everything's a free-for-all. I don't care what bar you're in

“Our son was in a concert at the Cohoes City Music Hall so we went to Spindles for dinner. My son, husband, and I all had a wonderful dinner. We tried the fried deviled eggs and they were delicious. I also highly recommend any dish served with their risotto! It was the best I have had. Spindles is worth checking out!“

I wish there was more of him around. makes my visit that much more enjoyable . if you are looking for food this is the wrong place. If you’re looking to drink and hang out and have a good time, this is it. Darts pool, Jamison and Guinness and other beers but no Bud Light. “First time ever!!!! Staff was incredible!!! Food was amazing ( Mac& Cheese with Chicken) The best I have ever had. Most of it came home with us. Definitely a very beautiful Irish establishment. Will definitely be coming back. Worth a 45 minute trip.“

“I ordered some half trays of food from the Ravenswood catering menu for a family gathering. The food was amazing!!! So delicious and boxed so well for easy and careful transport! The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be doing it again! Highly recommend. 💕“
