“A friend of mine, who loves Ravenswood suggested we go there and I'm glad he did.The service was especially attentive, even during the busy lunch hour. My salmon burger was very tasty. Usually I am content with less expensive lunch options (soup and salad) however, Ravenswood was a nice change and worth it.“
“Chicken Wings. Hands down, the best around. I used to go to The Ruck, but last time the wings looked like they were from week-old chicks. Never seen wings so tiny. I've gone to the Ale House ever since...as a lone patron, never felt weird. I recommend the Hefeweizen to pair.“
“Food is beyond delicious and fresh, we had out of town guests we brought there and couldn't say enough about the food. The service is always right on spot, and the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. The cleanliness is a 10 +++ Can't wait to go back! And OMG the desserts-sinfully amazing!!!“
“Place is very unassuming from the outside. Didn't have a reservation but they were very accommodating to get us in for a Saturday night. The food was phenomenal. The staff took time to get into great conversations.Parking: Either park on the street or the Dollar General parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Won't recommend bringing kids. The menu is not meant for children.“
“It definitely has a large beer menu and I was really happy with my beer. Also it's nice and dark. Really good location because it's next to offices, downtown and train station. If you like Schenectady then this bar probably has the best beer.“
“more recently, this pub started having a deejay on Saturday nights from 8p-12. The deejay played a good chunk of throwbacks, which was a nice switch up from hearing the same stuff on the radio. He even took song requests. There's two pool tables and you need quarters to start a game. The kitchen was open all night so you can order wings and fries.& now that its fall and the evenings are cool they have a nice fire pit in the back too that you can enjoy! This is a RitaRannts Recommendation location! Go check it out & thank me later!“
“Nice staff, decent food, great time... my son's band played here, so check them out for live shows! Parking sucks, not the fault of the bar... it's just a Troy fact... also check out @flatwoundsny the band (shameless plug) thanks Eldorado for a great night!“
“Wanna give a huge shout out to Kennedy’s cook Tommy!! He Has made that kitchen a well oiled machine..... I strongly suggest ya go in for lunch or dinner.... great food, great prices, great people ... ❤️Kennedy’s .... you will too!! Check it out“
“Neighborhood bar with great food... Great steak sandwich, Caesar salad and white pizza. Was a nice meeting partner to catch up with friends... Relaxing no rush atmosphere. I'll be back...Parking: Street parking... Was easy at lunch time the day before ?“
“This place is really chill and the bathrooms are always clean. Never seen a fight or large noisy crowds here. If you are 25 and older and just want to listen to some music and talk with your friends this is the place to go! Never tried any food here, I actually don't know if they have food, but it is the perfect hang out spot!Parking: There are places to park right out front, no garage. But this place isn't usually jam packed so there should be enough room to park.“
“Visited Hunters for the first time last night. Draft beer selection is excellent. Drink and food service was excellent with very attentive, friendly staff. Food was delicious. Very comfortable atmosphere with plenty of parking. I'm sorry I didn't know of this place sooner. Will definitely be back.“
“Friendly atmosphere (welcoming); ambience is upbeat (music is delightful); plenty of staff so it seems like not stressful or overwhelming for them and us; food is delicious every time!! Many options too! I recommend the scallops covered in Gruyere or any sandwich for lunch...great place to eat and they are on a golf course...what's not to enjoy!!“
“I have been coming here randomly for the last few years and have never been treated less than family. I eat and drink all over ny and cannot express how good the vibe is. plus the food is amazing. hands down one of the best burgers/ wings in Albany.“
“I love this place! Believe me, everything you read about the chicken wings here is spot on. They are meaty, juicy, and delicious. Jen helped me out and she couldn't have been nicer. She even started singing behind the bar! That's the kind of neighborhood spot this is. It feels like it's been around for 100 years and everyone is made to feel welcome. I can't wait to return because there were so many items on the menu and so many beers on tap it's impossible to conquer it all on just one visit. This is the perfect dive bar.“
“Food was really good and reasonable priced. Drinks overpriced for the location. Our server was kind of “funny rude” where I was like is he being mean to me or being “funny”, asking if I wanted a salad for my meal instead of a burger… ha, so funny.“
“The place is small and the food is great, which makes it often really busy. If you plan to come in peak-hours, plan for a wait. However, for me, the wait was well worth it!The chicken wings I ordered were perfect. Well-sourced, not too fatty, not dry, and cooked to perfection. The ranch was delicious (not the watery-grocery-store-kind). Plenty of carrots and celery to bite on in between the wings! The side of fries that I ordered was served is a cute cast iron mini-pot!Parking: If you're going there for the first time, take a note of the extra parking lot they offer, as there's very limited parking available right by the restaurant.“
“I went to the Mill on Round Lake with my wife, daughter and 1 year old grandson. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious. I had one of the specials - the Reuben sliders...so good. We all enjoyed our food and the relaxing atmosphere. The staff even filled up my grandson's bottle with milk a couple times. It was our first time there and we're all excited to go back.“
“We got wings and a burger for take away and our server/bartender India was amazing. The food was perfect and the blue cheese dressing is to die for!!!Dietary restrictions: India was sure to tell us about the gluten free buns and lettuce wrap options for burgers and other sandwiches.“
“We stopped by at the end of the day on a Friday. First, the atmosphere inside was cheery and welcoming. It reminded me of a bar like the old series “Cheers” or the Ben Affleck movie “The Tender Bar” - people were gathered like old friends at the end of a long work week. Katy was the bartender and server - very welcoming, upbeat- we can’t say enough about the great service we got. Now the food - we had read great reviews from Facebook and finally had a chance to try it out. We were not disappointed! This is pub food better than best - it’s the real deal. First we started with an order of honey BBQ bone in wings (they have many sauce flavor options)- best we’ve had in the capital region - hot, crispy, large sized and absolutely delicious. Next we tried the plain Mac and cheese and it, too, was delicious- lovely melted cheese on top of cavatappi pasta with a lovely blend of creamy cheeses underneath. We didn’t need to add any salt because the flavors were perfectly delicious already. Next we had the pulled pork sandwich that came with Cole slaw and their homemade, hand cut fries. I opted for onion rings. Can’t even begin to describe how delicious everything was - the pulled pork had excellent smoky tenderness, the Cole slaw was delicious — (too many places just can’t make a good Cole slaw but this place has it down !)And then there are the fries and onion rings - wow - both were excellent! Super flavor and perfect light crispy texture- haven’t had good fries/onion rings like this in years! The menu had many other pub fare options from chicken to salads and burgers. It’s a small cozy place inside, people are very friendly. Highly recommend this place. Katy was great and she makes a top notch White Russian. Our hats go off to the chefs/cooks for the extra mile on serving amazing pub food that sets this place apart from so many other places in the Capital Region“
“Cute little place, I ordered garlic knots, 8 slice pizza, bacon bleu burger and bbq boneless wings. The garlic knots are huge and soft couldn’t taste the garlic but it was still good. The Burger was delicious it was cooked right and had chipotle mayo and bleu cheese crumbles on it and that was my first time trying chipotle mayo DELICIOUS. The boneless chicken was good too, best sauce.“
“Great prices and lots of seating!! They have a bar scene with tables if you want some noise, then they have a side room with more tables that is more quiet and then a whole upstairs room that’s even quieter. Such a nice place and lots of room. Good menu, on the smaller side but good selection and really good prices. The food came out so fast and it was really good. The waiters were amazing as well. Highly recommend.“
“great live music, which is not that loud compared to other places where you can't here the person you're talking to already. the staff was nice and the bar looks very clean and organized! If you want to have a drink and feel relaxed, Jay St Pub is a great place“
“Heritage bar and fly and shaker road. Nice bar they have popcorn and nuts. They don't serve food, but if you want something to eat. There's a Stewart's right next store. It's a very nice atmosphere. Have a lot on tap Blue Moon course to name a few.Love you check it out, we did.“
“Pam's Pub is now called the Crescent Wrench Tavern. They renovated the place a few months ago and really cleaned it up and brightened the vibe. I meet my buddy there for wings and cocktails every month and we always have a great time. The bar tenders are always attentive, food comes out hot, and drinks come out cold! They have the whole package in this little place. Great place for gathering with friends to watch a game. They have quick draw lottery, a juke box and an old fashioned popcorn machine by the door to keep you nice and thirsty! The Wrench is a great local spot to grab a quick bite and catch up with formiliar faces!“
