“My favorite place in the area, as the food is always fresh and delicious! The portions are huge and Sal and his staff are amazing; he can come up with anything even if it’s not listed on the menu. They get busy with lunch rush from the hospital and still manage to get everyone in and out. I highly recommend their spicy falafel gyro! My daughter loves their chopped salmon and her best friend is obsessed with the chopped cheese sandwiches. It gives NYC deli vibes. I come here for lunch every week and have yet to leave unsatisfied. They have vegan options as well and there is something for everyone here.“

The best burger I’ve had in a veryyy long time. Also, the fries? They didn’t need ketchup; finallyyy a place with fries that are seasoned enough, and not bland and/or dry. I have definitely found my new favorite place for burgers and fries, at least- but will definitely try other things.
And the man at the counter was very nice, even during what appeared to be a busy time. That is rare.“

“One of my favorite places to eat. I always go for beef Chapli with fries. The owner and the people there are amazing. I lost my wallet there and got it back after couple months either everything in it. I will always come back for more of that amazing food. Keep up the good work 👍“

“Hands down the best chicken over rice I have had in the entire capital region.
Flavor on point, sauce on point, they got the good fries and the portion was HUGE! The chicken texture was good, no weird rubbery bits and tasted fresh, not like it was taken out of a bag like some other places around town... It's honestly a great bang for your buck if you work in an office bcs I split that platter in half and had it for lunch two days in a row! I'll definitely be back.“

“Never had this place before but out of every restaurant ive been too, the staff were kinda rude but... the food was immaculate everything was fresh, and it didn't take long at all considering they were busy it took like 8 minutes I would definitely come out here again would I travel an hour 2 plus?? hours prolly not... but if your close id definitely recommend 👌“

“I was good, got the lamb gyro which could use a little more flavor but was still good and the size was pretty decent, but the best thing I got was the mozzarella sticks they were extremely crispy but still melty cheese inside so overall the food was good“

“Got a steak egg and cheese bagel from there and it was very good. I liked how the egg was omelette style instead of the typical fried egg and it had lots of flavor. Good pricing as well, BEC are $5 and steak is 5.99. Beats the crappy egg sandwiches from Dunkin or Stewarts“

“Halal Shack is one of my favorite spots on campus. Their falafel over brown rice is my go-to, and it never disappoints. Recently, they've introduced some exciting new toppings, including the spicy feta, which is a must-try. The combination of flavors is outstanding, making each visit a delightful experience. If you haven’t been yet, you’re definitely missing out!“

“One of the few places you can halal pizza. We ordered the Mexican chicken pizza and it was super flavorful and spicy. Their other items like the quesadillas are really good too. My only gripe is that their hours seems to be random now, they used to be open everyday from 11 am to 11 pm and now most days I drive by, they're closed. It might be due to lack of staffing and it being a weird location, but you shouldn't sleep on this place.“

“When I say these are the best wings I’ve had in a long time! Not only are the prices phenomenal here, the service is just as good. The lady in the front is so kind, and my first visit I ordered only 5 wings and ended up with 8. Definitely come and eat here if you’re in the mood for some good wings and nice service. (15% off on wings during the summer too!)“

“It's a great option for late night & you have nothing at home for dinner. I love to order their samosas too, which aren't listed on the website, but if you order the falafel and then in comments say you want an order of samosas they'll honor the request. Always get the green sauce!“
