“We didn’t realize we walked in after hours until we left and I have to shout out the service and the food. Super friendly service, a lot of pride for their food (which after eating, I so get it). To top it off the birria tacos and quesadillas were AMAZING. Also enjoyed the music while I waited. KTO, we’ll be back.“

The beans and rice are to die for, they're that good. They were friendly and very helpful and the food was delicious, I will be returning.“

“We just had a 40th Birthday Party for our daughter & it was amazing! Starting with Bill, the Banquet Manager who was so accommodating & informative. The Maitre D was the sweetest, kindest & attentive person & the Staff were all smiles & helpful. The food was displayed with such creative ideas & delicious. Thank you to The Refuge for making our party so memorable. The guest were in awe & could not stop complementing us on having such a fabulous party. Can’t wait to book another party 🎉“

“Loved the mash-up of Honduran favorites and Italian American deli must haves. The breakfast items look inviting as well..looks.like a.good spot to pick up a well made breakfast and lunch that are so appetizing. The deli is inviting but a bit small. Only comfortable for takeout and seating for 1 or 2 people“

Maria has put a lot of resources into the place to create the ultimate dining experience. The tapas nights are top notch. The gambas, black bean soup, beef nachos and fajitas are not to be beat by anyone. We stop regularly and are always delighted. Highly recommend. So many margarita variations we can't even count them all.“

“This place is great for authentic Mexican food. I ordered a chorizo taco and Cubana sandwich. My friend ordered a couple tacos and and a tostada. (See photos)On a Sunday afternoon it was very busy, which I didn't really expect, but I took it as a good sign. My friend that took me there has been there several times, it is currently her favourite taco spot ??“

“Just discovered this little gem. Been looking for a pupusaria that also makes the cabbage slaw and red sauce authentically. THIS is the place! Ordered the queso con frijoles pupusas. SO DELICIOUS! Made fresh to order. Wasn't too salty, the cabbage slaw was perfectly marinated, the red sauce that goes with the dish are perfect together. Should have ordered more. Great price. Sorry didn't take pics, was so hungry I devoured it. The ladies who work there were super nice and sweet. Atmosphere very casual, they have selections of hot foods as well that looks delicous. Highly recommend.“

“Went at 11AM on a Sunday. The parking lot was a puzzle of cars trying to get in and out and just parking anywhere they could. There was a minimal line inside. We had the steak, the chicken and the Cuban sandwiches. They were all AMAZING. The chicken and the Cuban melted my fat heart. I then ordered some to go for later on, since I live in Queens. I hope I'm out by this area again so I can order it again. Cash only, and don't look for cleanliness, just order and enjoy.“
“We just finished our order and all I can say is WOW!! Ordered the 1/2 chicken with fries and Maduras everything arrived piping hot, chicken was tender juicy full of flavor, Maduras were hot and sweet large portions..MAN! My new go to place please don’t ever change!!“
“Pupusas were delicious, drinks were AWESOME! We had horchata, maracuya, and piña coladas! In my opinion quesadillas were a bit salty, torta was not a traditional milanesa but did not disappoint. Service was great we had an attentive waitress, informative and kind. Ambiance was family friendly and accommodating. Overall, good eats, nice dinner and menu priced fairly. Thank you.“

“I cannot believe I lived in west Babylon for 7 years and only tried this place 2 years ago. I passed by so many times. The food is fantastic and my wife and I keep going back for more. Try the burbon chicken with anything. It’s not a dine in place, so just take out and I promise you will be back. Food is affordable and I highly recommend their taco salad that’s served in a crunchy bowl…. Or their nachos!“
“We used Roadhouse Empanadas as an exit station at our wedding, and it was probably the best decision we made about the entire wedding planning process. From start to finish Lisa was absolutely amazing to work with and they were so accommodating, especially considering we decided to use them only 3 weeks before our wedding!!! The food was amazing and our guests still ask how we found them because they want more empanadas!! They are a must book, you will not regret your decision!!!!“

“The Nada Beef empanadas (vegan) are absolutely, positively DELICIOUS and the salsa verde con cilantro... buenísima!!! The flavors are true Boricua!!! Shout out to Puerto Rican ownership because it's far and few between. I look forward to returning.“
