“We came to this place for the second time. Today my husband tried a piece of chicken ranch and a bun with sausage. It was delicious and smelled very appetizing. The pizza's titch is very crispy and not burnt like in other places. The institution has a toilet for both women and men.“

“Delicious! I stopped by yesterday to try it out. I'm a vegetarian so I was happy to see a couple vegetarian dishes outside of the falafel.

I tried the sauteed spinach dish (Sabzee Chalow.) It was sooo good. The house salad was good too with the white sauce (and mint) dressing.

I will definitely be back. They do a lot of take out business but I enjoyed eating in.“

“Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“I have had two good experiences here—the staff was super friendly and nice and they even gave me a discount for paying cash which was nice! It might not be the highest quality of freshness but everything tasted good, they had some great options of toppings and it’s reasonable for a nice sized meal!

The crispy bacon and chicken batter work well together, with the other ingredients giving the softer mouth feel to the moist sandwich . Hot honey, pepperjack cheese, coleslaw, and pickles add the extra pop of flavor. If you don't trust me, just try it yourself. You get what you pay for. Well done to the friendly, joking, and helpful staff!

“Excellent pizzas--the best in the county. With some really creative combinations. And the salads and other dishes that we have tried have been quite good as well. There is obviously someone very talented in charge of the food here. Service is good. The staff is friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that the lights are always turned up to last call brightness, and the charm of the exterior of the old farmhouse is not matched in its no-frills interior. Even so, great place.“

“Kosher (meat). I highly recommend the chicken cutlets or sesame chicken. I can say the kugel is the best non-home-made I have found. Prices fall into the category of not cheap, but not too expensive, for $6 you can get a filling lunch. If you live in Monsey and are willing to pay you can also get it delivered - so good value for those good alternative for those you you unable to get down there. No religious/cultural exclusion, so if you are a non-Jew who wants to try Kosher food, this is a decent place.“

Seating is ideal outside in the summer months and heaters are available in the fall. It’s cozy inside in the winter time by the fireplace. Well behaved dogs are welcome outside making this restaurant ideal for a walk around Piermont with its shops and amazing views of the Hudson River and the Tappan Zee bridge (colorfully lit at night). Will cool down with Lobster Mango Avacado Orange Fruit salad Followed by a Yellowtail jalapeño Mango roll and Salmon Sweet Shrimp roll. This was presented well and tasted better. Then to our surprise they gave us tempura green tea ice cream.“
