“I've tried this restaurant four times in the past two weeks, and I can honestly say the food is amazing. The place is always clean, and the overall atmosphere is nice. The only thing that stood out to me was the staff. They weren't rude or unfriendly, but they seemed a bit bored or annoyed, and the energy felt off. It's hard to explain, but the service lacked the warm, welcoming vibe that would make the experience even better. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend the food.“

“My first visit to Salad House in Ridgewood was a great experience. I received a warm welcome from Chris, the manager. He was very courteous and polite. He took the time to explain the menu and answer my questions with great detail and enthusiasm. I ordered the Teriyaki Bowl and was very pleased; as it was very flavorful. This time we started with 3 apps that I tried. A salmon tatar, raw oysters on a half shell and shrimp. We like to eat and love our food lol. After ordering and eating entirely too much delicious food the couple who owns the restaurant gave me a ride to the bus station. When their DoorDash driver didn’t show up, the store employee and manager went above and beyond trying to make it right, the manager even personally delivered our order.

Service was a little uneven, but that was most likely due to the fact that there was a really large party in the dining room and they tend to be high maintenance. Worth the trip.“
