When their DoorDash driver didn’t show up, the store employee and manager went above and beyond trying to make it right, the manager even personally delivered our order.

“I just got a couple slices after running some errands. The pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had- cooked perfectly, crust wasn’t too crunchy or soft, had great flavor. The service was amazing. The man asked every customer if they wanted salt, pepper, parmesan for their table and asked each family who came in with small children if they wanted their pizza less hot and/or cut smaller for them. Sauce was simple but bright with freshness. The eggplant fries were light and airy with the perfect crisp. Our waiter was very attentive and informative. We will be back to try everything else!“

My husband grew up in the area, and because of his military service we’ve spent years overseas and away from home. When he talks about “home,” this is one of the places that always comes up. While stationed in the Middle East, this was the pizza we would dream about.

It’s one of the very first places we go whenever we’re back visiting. And even though I’m from Maryland, I think about this food just as much as he does! Now that we live in Maryland, you’d think the drive would feel long — but when we’re headed to Calabria, it never does.

The food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We love everything we order, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

For him, it’s a taste of home. For me, it’s just hands-down some of the best pizza around. ❤️🍕
