“Stopped here on a Sunday while I was traveling through Corning and as a breakfast connoisseur, was quite happy to know they have a brunch menu on Sundays! 10 out of 10 on the pulled pork and smoked bacon that came with the Nickels special. 20 bucks and feeds two”

“Took my senior parents for lunch and they were very accommodating to seat us downstairs. Fantastic wait staff! Very friendly! The mac & cheese dishes were delicious and huge portions. I had the Taco Salad which was as big as my head..but the show stopper was the Coconut Shrimp with Raspberry dipping sauce. Will be back.”

“Stop by Old World late afternoon on a Tuesday. The absolute best French Onion Soup, turkey berry sandwich on the freshest gluten free bread. Ended our meal sharing a piece of chocolate carrot cake. Cream cheese icing to die for! Friendly folks to boot!!”

“I recently sent my parents here to pick up a sub for me (lol), and they came back raving about how lovely their experience was and asked me to leave a review.

According to my mother, the staff was very friendly and super helpful. She said that they were greeted as soon as they walked in, that the staff did a great job helping her with my order (I gave limited instructions, apparently), and she was very impressed that the meat was freshly cut for my sandwich, rather than being stored out in the open.

Additionally, the sandwich that I received was super delicious and made exactly the way I wanted it. I'll definitely be going back for more!”

“Wow! We felt like we were treated as family. My daughter (V) has Celiac Disease and we very rarely eat out. Carey’s has a dedicated gluten free fryer- we loved the fried pickles and French fries! The owner was extremely knowledgeable and paid close attention to detail. V had special plates/dishes to indicate GF. Her food was brought out on a separate tray, and leftovers boxed and bagged up separately. Everyone else in our party (non GF/Celiac) agreed that all the food was delicious! (Huge juicy burgers were a hit!) We were even surprised with two Gluten Free desserts- cheesecake and chocolate cake. Great experience.”

Second, the atmosphere is so relaxing - great music playing, decor is spot on and perfect for the style of building, and the beer is great! We really enjoyed visiting here and will def return when we come back to Corning!!”

“The atmosphere was very romantic in a European way with a casual dining area. The drinks were well made and the service was excellent. I especially enjoyed the smooth music in the background. They offer an eclectic genre of music and also celebrate local talent. The customers were friendly and you could dress from casual to semi formal. A fabulous experience I have not been there for years and I am looking forward to going back again 😀 👍✌️”

“This could very well be THE BEST hotel I ever stayed at. They were thoughtful enough to decorate the entire fourier with stuffed animals with bandaids for our wildlife Rehabilitation conference since we take care of injured wildlife! The ENTIRE staff, from check in, to the kitchen and dining staff, to the house keeping were all so very sweet, fun, engaging, polite and helpful. Completely mind blown to see this level of an ENTIRE staff that accommodating. Especially this day and time. So refreshing to know this is even possible to achieve.”

Solid selection of interesting origins, not over-roasted, and consistently fresh batches being produced. Definitely recommended for anyone in the area looking to try out some different varieties or just wanting a regular supply of quality whole bean coffee.”

“This was a nice little dive bar to watch sports at. Their patio is super cute, and I appreciated that they host different events to bring locals in. We only stayed for one drink since we were heading to the Rockwell Museum, but the bartender was really sweet and gave us recommendations while we were in town. We would definitely return next time we’re in town!”

“Everything was great as usual, both the service and the atmosphere. This time, my macha latte wasn't great. I had a lumpy macha latte; maybe the girls were in a hurry, even though there weren't many people there. The macha wasn't whipped well. I was a little upset, but it didn't spoil my mood. I got my macha latte, just the way I like it, at a different location.”

“My family went to Bob Evans in Corning today. We are a large group from all across the county that hadn't gotten all together for 20 years, and breakfast is the family tradition, and we took up several tables. The servers, Holle and Jodi, were amazing, however the manager was not. The food was appealing, delicious, & filling. The service was friendly & fantastic, with those girls working very hard to keep up with all of us. The confusion came with the tickets, since each little group was paying separately. The manager put undue pressure on them, which only made it worse. Thank goodness for the assistant manager, Rachelle. She helped everyone figure it out and was very pleasant & professional. If we ever go back there again, it would be because of the great food and service of those workers. Thank you Holle, Jodi, & Rachelle.”

“Just ordered at 9:23pm not realizing they closed at 9:30pm. Asked if it was ok to order as we have such long days here with the horses. They had no problem, took the order and the food was great! I dont know of any other place that would even answer their phone 3 min to close let alone take an order. Definitely thrilled with their service!”
