“Had a great experience here! The food was delicious with that classic American comfort food vibe, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our server, Tammy, was especially outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal without ever being intrusive. She made sure we had everything we needed and really helped make the experience enjoyable. Great service can make all the difference, and Tammy definitely delivered. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in upstate New York.“

Other then that waiter was very pleasant. beautiful place with live music on Fridays. Not cheap. but definitely higher end restaurant in the area.“

“Absolutely excellent dinner location for Thanksgiving. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

I recently went on (04/05) for my 31st birthday and I wanted to say I was astounded by the flavor and composition of my special. I ordered the rabbit. As someone who cherishes local and seasonal ingredients, this menu item was a slam dunk. Between the rabbit, the mustard greens and the delightful dancing of purple radish on my plate…I was beyond satiated by the balance and beauty of this dish. Hats off to the chef who designed this and those who executed it. It was amazing. And I’ve been telling everyone about it at work. Thank you for giving me a culinary memorable moment, it meant a LOT!“

“We recently ordered lunch from The Beacon Daily for a group of 20 people attending a special event weekend at Glynwood in Cold Spring, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. It is rare to find a business owner so personally invested in ensuring a customer's event is successful. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. “7 of us popped in on a Thursday evening without a reservation. We were kindly greeted and promptly seated. We each enjoyed our meals and appetizers - delicious food, large portions. I opted for the half portion of Chicken Sandoval. The half portion was plenty and the dish was tasty! A great spot to eat in the Village and even re-connect with with an "old" friend.“

The food was good (had some cheeseburger sliders and fries) the bartender was great. I'm not a big drinker, but they had these hard ciders that were very good. Definitely a nice spot I can see coming back to.“
