Prices are very fair. I think these are the best Chinese BBQ ribs in the area. The wonton soup is also good and can really satisfy a cold. There is a slight black pepper taste to it.

I always get what I expect and am always left feeling satisfied.“

I placed an order for delivery one day and Carlos (the owner) also put a cup f Parmesan cheese in with my order. When I saw him the next day I mentioned it to him and his response was “ your my customer and I know what my customers like. Anyways I decided to order from my favorite pizza place, which is Westbrook Pizza and I was very happy. The Chicken Parm was absolutely delicious as always. Also didn’t know they even had Zeppoli’s until I asked and those were the best ones I’ve had in a long time. Their service is excellent as well! I highly recommend! 10/10!“

“My family went to the diner on Christmas Eve. We were the last ones to leave and they were so friendly and pleasant. The food of course, was also delicious! Specially the Cheese Cake! My family has a cheese cake sweet tooth, and this is the best we've ever had. So light and sweet. Can't say enough about this place and the service as well. Going with friends and/or family who haven't been before, makes the experience even more enjoyable. Straight-away, newcomers are impressed as they review the eclectic menu. We tell them, honestly - we've never had anything on the menu that we didn't LOVE. It was not unusual that, on this week's visit, our party of six couldn't make menu selections 'cause everything sounded so good. No problem, we simply "ordered for the table"! Ready for this - we ordered: 2 orders of Pulled Pork Sliders, 2 orders of Brie Stuffed Pretzels, Asador Corn, Watermelon Salad, 2 orders of Smoked Ribs, Shrimp & Grits, and Chinese Chicken Salad. OH MY, what a Scrumptious Feast! Not a morsel was left over! When the friendly, attentive waiter suggested dessert, some said, "I can't eat another thing!", and "oh, maybe tomorrow". I suggested, perhaps some very delicious iced cappuccinos, or an outrageous dessert drink. Everyone ordered something. I then said to our party, I think we need some accompaniments. My wife and I got the waiter on the side, explained we had a Birthday Gal at the table, and ordered an assorted dessert board for the table. Moments later, the board was presented with a glowing birthday sparkler and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday". Immediately, the signature Carrot Cake, Mexican Chocolate Covered Churros, Bourbon Glazed Donuts, Cheese Cake, and Vanilla Gelato began to be devoured. Nearby patrons could be heard saying, "We'll have what they're having!" It was another memorable, Great Time at Southern Table. Bravo to the Chef and Staff!“

“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. When I go in, the girl who usually takes my order is always there , Believe her name is Briana or Bri not 100% sure . She is a young girl with dark hair, looks very Italian. She is super adorable, very personable and well-mannered, always has a smile on her face, and always helps me out! There are a bunch of others girls I see there often and they are fantastic as well :) Great food, great atmosphere, great music, overall-great place to go.
