Located in the quiet riverside village of Coxsackie, Coxsackie Creamery is a sweet little gem offering delicious locally made ice cream. The ice cream comes from Jane’s Ice Cream, based in Kingston, NY, a beloved small-batch creamery known for high-quality ingredients. There are tons of choices for both traditional and vegan options, including eight super creamy vegan flavors. A must-try is the ice cream flight, which is perfect to try 5 different flavors. Specific flavors mentioned include salted pretzel, raspberry chocolate chip, blue moon (dyed with blue spiranella), and Peanut Crunch, which had a rich peanut base with big candied peanuts. The waffle bowls are made in house and highly recommended. The staff is the sweetest around, and the owner is lovely to chat with, super friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Great customer service and cute decor inside complete the experience. It is an awesome place and one of the favorite ice cream places around.
