Fast Food Restaurants near Coxsackie

“I don’t normally post comments on fast food places BUT this Subway business stood out, so here goes!
This was our first trip to Coxsackie NY, I was meeting with a family members here . The three of us found this business and decided to try it.
There were 2 employees manning the counter…a male & a female..”Puppy” & “Kick” were the names they gave me. THEY WERE BOTH AWESOME! So kind, considerate and friendly… and the subs they made were PERFECT!! They absolutely STOOD OUT to us!
They did their job, did it well and made you feel welcome!!
I just want to make sure they were both recognized! They absolutely STOOD OUT!

“So….I ordered here and Starbucks. Had the Starbucks on the counter and went to grab my chic and the coffee ended up all over the counter and behind the check out. I felt horrible!! Mortified! But the young man behind the counter handled it with grace and professionalism. I insisted on trying to help clean it up. I did my best. He even helped me get a new Starbucks! Such a sweet person. Thank you Q!!!“

“You can really tell they care about what they serve. The fish sandwich is one of my favorites-crispy, flavorful, and never greasy. The onion rings are just as good-perfectly fried and not too heavy. And I have to mention the fries-they're always fresh, hot, and perfectly salted.
Definitely one of my go-to spots when I want a satisfying meal:“

“We don't have LJS where I'm from so anytime we have one near our travels, we stop. Fryers were changed before we got there and oil was not up to temp. They said it would be about half an hour and then some to then cook our fish. So we left and came back. Even though we ended up with the wrong shrimp then what we ordered, Elias and staff did everything to make the long wait right. Thank you“

“I know the food is usually on par, but their morning Crew, they need balancing. I was skipped 2 times in the drive thru, and I didn't get to order. I was told the shift was switching and mistakes were made. I don't understand skipping a person by a speaker, I couldn't go anywhere but speak with them, and I was passed over 2 times.“

“We were headed to Northern New York and needed some breakfast so we found this McDonald's was the closest thing from the highway that was open. It was the cleanest McDonald's I've ever been in and the people working the counter were so polite.“

“wanted to leave an updated review now that this location is just Taco Bell, since the Long John Silver’s side is no longer open. After the fire, things clearly changed, and it’s important that the name reflects what customers are actually getting when they come here. This should be listed simply as Taco Bell, not a combo store.

That said, this Taco Bell continues to do a great job. The staff here are consistently friendly, patient, and welcoming, even during busy times. You can tell they’re working hard, and it really shows in the service. Orders are handled efficiently, questions are answered politely, and the overall vibe is positive every time I stop in.

The restaurant feels cleaner and more focused now, and it honestly works better as a standalone Taco Bell. Food comes out hot, fresh, and made correctly, which is all you can ask for. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, a late-night bite, or feeding the whole family on a budget, this location delivers.

I also want to give credit where it’s due — dealing with a fire and changes like the closure of Long John Silver’s isn’t easy, yet the team here stayed professional and upbeat through it all. That says a lot about the management and employees.

Overall, this is a solid Taco Bell location with great people behind the counter. Just make sure the name is updated to reflect reality — Taco Bell only — and you’ve got a well-run spot that deserves the 5 stars. 🌮“

“This Subway is located in a gas station area with a laundromat in the back. Ordered several times on my phone app and they usually get the subs as I ordered. On two occasions, I asked for the parmesan vinaigrette on the side and they added it to the sandwich. Overall, one of the better Subway Shops.“

“Just went through the drive threw ask a very smug young man for ketchup told he had in the bin. So when I asked someone else if they had any anywhere he got uppity with me . I just told u we had none . Really Robert !!!And then he says he's the manager. I'm done such horrible customer service. And I've been going here for years . I don't do upity.“
