“A diamond hidden in plain sight! Don’t miss scallion pancake, fried pot stickers, chicken satay with peanut sauce, tom kha soup, drunken noodles, basil fried rice ... we were stuffed to the gills, but then we saw the dessert menu. Sticky rice and mango ... and 4 forks please! 🤣 I’m uncomfortably full (my fault) but can’t wait to go back.“

“Their pho is incredible and their fresh rolls divine. My only complaint? On my most recent visit I got pho as takeout, and the broth was so hot, it actually deformed the takeout container it was in. I don't remember that in the past, so I think they must have switched brands. The broth leaked and I was concerned about leaching from melted plastic.

“We just stopped in for dinner for tye first time since the grand re-opening and I can confirm that the food is absolutely just as excellent as it was before the tragic explosion that closed the restaurant for what seems like forever! And the new building and seating are far superior to those in the prior incarnation. Sonya and her family have done it again! For us, Pad Thai Noodle is an essential fixture in the restaurant scene of the Capital District. Their Green Curry (my favorite) and the signature Pad Thai (my wife’s fave) are simply unmatched around here. Highly and unreservedly recommended.“

I loved the flavor of the Kao Soi noodle, I recommend ordering noodles over the seafood or meat (my boyfriend didn’t love the duck as much as my noodles) Small space with room for about 10 -15 dining customers at a time. No alcohol is served here- better to know this ahead of time! Great spot“

“I asked the server for a recommendation and I loved what she chose. I Had the ga gopow and she had the masaman curry .both dishes tasted great. Food came out very hot and very quickly .
Atmosphere is a four star but I would say it’s a great hole in the wall down one of Albanys side streets. Will return again and would have both of those dishes. Nice place walking distance of the mvp arena“

“My mom took me for dinner. It was awesome. I asked for tempura veggies, which my mom had never had before. She loved them! My dinner was the Hibachi salmon and filet mignon combo. Everything was so delicious, including the soup and salad. I can't wait to eat here again in the future!“

“Sometimes you just want Wanton Soup. Bamboo does a great job with all their dumplings and the other American Chinese food. The owners seem to be an older couple that care more about their food quality than anywhere else in Schenectady. I wish they made real Chinese food as well! I feel like they would make killer Dongpo Pork, Chicken Feet, Tendon with Sea Cucumber, Jellyfish Salad, etc. If you like Beef Broccoli, Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour, this place has the BEST American style Chinese food. I haven't tried their pork yet, and that is usually the protein American Chinese makes hard, dry, and sometimes inedible (Scotia/Glenville Chinese food comes to mind, if anyone could make decent Asian food, you'd make generational wealth with all the terrible Asian food in Scotia/Glenville). The only bad thing is the atmosphere. Let's be honest, you aren't bringing a date here, or sitting down for a traditional family style Chinese meal. So atmosphere shouldn't be a problem. This isn't my favorite style of food, I'd rather go to Hu's House or Ala Shanghai. If American Chinese is your thing, DEFINITELY give this place a try!!!“
