“Let me start with I am not one to write reviews however this one is worth the occasion. It was an absolute pleasure working with Wildly Cakes to get a cake for my bridal shower. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this bakery and the incredible service they provided for our wedding.

We decided somewhat last minute that we wanted a wedding cake, and they were able to accommodate our request on a very tight timeline. There was a small rush fee, which was completely understandable, and absolutely worth it. From the moment we spoke with them, they were professional, helpful, and committed to making our vision come to life.

What made the experience even more special was that the cake design was essentially a freestyle cherry blossom theme. We trusted their creativity, and they exceeded every expectation. The cake was absolutely stunning and became one of the most beautiful details of our wedding.

As gorgeous as the cake looked, the flavor was even better. We chose a two-tier cake with chocolate cake and cannoli filling on one tier, and yellow cake with fresh raspberry filling on the other. Both were phenomenal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, rich without being heavy, and sweet without being overpowering. The icing complemented the cake beautifully rather than overwhelming it.

To be completely honest, it was one of the best cakes I've ever had. Many wedding cakes look beautiful but don't necessarily taste amazing. This cake delivered both. Our guests loved it, and we received numerous compliments throughout the evening.

I cant BELIEVE ive lived in Harrison for 25 years and never knew this amazing little nugget stayed open at night with a bubbly staff, the most amazing Sfiogatelle and coffee fresh and brewed to perfection…not too strong, not even slightly burnt! “A sweet little pastry shop that I have been getting my birthday Napoleon cake from ever since I was a baby from what I’m told. They have excellent pastries, but really they’re glazed Napoleon cake is their signature masterpiece! I would try out the traditional cannolis as well if you do not like the chocolate dipped kind, as I find them too sweet for my taste. The regular kind with just a regular shell and pistachio nuts is my favorite. They also have excellent housemaid gelato in the summer that puts any gelato that they sell in the supermarket or cold stone or whatever, it puts it all to shame. By far, my favorite bakery in the tri-state area! Now my son just had his first Napoleon cake from Delite! 2 generations happy as can be! Thank you Delite!“

“My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“

The store is clean and has some seating inside. The staff is very friendly and helpful !
The cases are well stocked with cakes and flying saucers and pre made sundaes.
We both had soft serve twist cones with rainbow sprinkles which were amazing.
Since I was a kid, carvel has been serving consistently great I've cream and they continue that tradition today.

“I have ordered from carousel cakes several times now and let me tell you …they’re fabulous! They come frozen (which is actually so convenient) and they taste amazing. I’ve tried the rocky road cake, the key lime pie, napoleon cake and the banana chocolate mouse. All so delicious. Definitely defrost them the day before in the fridge and they come out perfect each time. So happy to find this gem and will continue to use them for all my events!“
