“Let me start with I am not one to write reviews however this one is worth the occasion. It was an absolute pleasure working with Wildly Cakes to get a cake for my bridal shower. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“

The cake was absolutely beautiful and unbelievably delicious — truly the first time ever that an entire cake was finished at a birthday dinner. Not a single slice left. “I ordered a baby shower cake from Fleetwood Bakery in Mount Vernon, and they absolutely nailed it! The whole experience was seamless, and they even delivered it right to my home, which was such a help. The cake itself was blue velvet with a cream cheese filling, and it was unbelievably soft, moist, and flavorful. Everyone at the shower kept asking where it was from! The design came out exactly how I envisioned it, and the attention to detail was beautiful. I’ll definitely be coming back for future celebrations. “The cannolis here are INCREDIBLE... 10/10!!! The cookies are pretty good, too, as they are not overly sweet and go perfectly with coffee or tea. However, their mini cakes are not the best, which is why I'm docking a star. I ordered a mini tiramisu which was dry and seemed to have a frosting layer rather than a creamy mascarpone, which was disappointing. Overall, awesome bakery! I would just say to avoid the mini cakes.“

“End of an era. I used to love going to this Carvel as it’s right in the neighborhood. I tried going today 2/16/2026, only to find out it’s another ice cream shop and Carvel, no longer. This Carvel had been in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. It will be missed.“

“My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“

“Exactly what you want a Carvel to be. The soft-serve ice cream is delicious in a way that the other ice cream stores and trucks can’t/don’t match. And somehow this particular Carvel seems to make extra creamy soft-serve, even though I know that’s unlikely since I assume they’re following a standard recipe. Service is always friendly and helpful, and they have buy one get one free Sundaes on Wednesday!“

“Carousel cakes sells, cakes, pies, and cupcakes. Speciality cakes you must order in advance. Red velvet is my go to cake. Blue velvet is my cupcakes go to favorite. I ordered a couple of pies to taste this time. I'm praying they're worth it. I lost my red velvet recipe. So, this is my go to place. You won't regret it. Staff is very nice and service is so quick. They take cash and credit cards.“

Eliza is one of the kindest, most professional employees I’ve encountered at Cold Stone in Scarsdale. She always greets with a smile, stays patient, and truly cares about customers.

It’s upsetting to see adults leave condescending reviews just because she clarified they don’t serve rolled ice cream. Being a teenager doesn’t make her any less capable & she consistently goes above and beyond.
