“We absolutely love the Spotted Duck Creamery—the ice cream here is truly some of the best we’ve ever had! Every flavor is so fresh and delicious, and it’s always a treat to bring friends and family when they’re visiting. That said, I was a little disappointed on our most recent visit. I arrived at 8:00 PM, and although they close at 8:30 PM, when I ordered the Seneca Flight (which includes eight different flavors), they opted to split it into two cups—four scoops in each—instead of serving it in the traditional flight style. I was especially excited to share the full flight experience with my family visiting from Virginia Beach, so it was a bit of a letdown not to get the signature presentation. Overall though, it was still a great experience, and the ice cream itself never disappoints. I’d just encourage the team to consider offering the full experience up until closing, especially for guests who make a point to arrive before the posted hours end. We’ll definitely be back!”

Low key, delicious wine, friendly hosts and owner(s) and not overly commercialized with expensive trinkets. You can bring your own snacks too (if there isn’t a food truck there). Did I mention the beautiful view of Lake Seneca? Their vegetable garden is decorated for the spooky season and welcomes a few wanderers. It was the perfect end to the day!
