“I really like the southern style Indian Street food. started with a potato samosa that was nice and spicy and also a vegetable Puff it was equally as good. the inside was as expected with nice seasoned potato in other vegetables. introduce my vegetarian daughter to Indian food for the first time. we had one of the pani puri and my daughter was instantly hooked as it was well seasoned The addictive sauce that you pour into each Hollow shell that is filled with vegetables and puffed rice. for the main course me and my daughter each had a kathi roll. my daughter got the aloo( potato) and egg and I got the Chana(seasoned chickpeas in a sauce) with egg. they both came with the raita (yogurt sauce) and hot sauce. we were very pleased as it was delicious and the kathi roll it was hot and flaky. Would definitely recommend this to anybody that likes spicy Indian food.“

“Another Indian restaurant checked off my list! Love going around town and seeing how spicy they’ll make it for me, as per usual i said “make it as spicy as you possibly can” and they delivered! Got the tikka masala lunch special and its eye watering spicy but still very flavorful! The masala buttermilk and gulab jamun to finish it off was great. Will certainly be going back for more.“

The Chole Bhature is a must-try—absolutely spot on. They also have a great variety, from biryanis to samosas, so there’s something for everyone.

The ambience makes the experience even better: nice music playing all the time and an amazing view of the UB pond at Baird Point, which is hard to beat.

“good food. you must speak slow when ordering by phone. had bad reception or something. my order was wrong but delicious. good thing I'm just part time vegetarian because I thought the paneer tasted like chicken. I don't want to talk about the naan problem , the pain and suffering was great the next day because I had to walk all the way to opposite ends of store for nàan then milk to properly enjoy my meal. I have numb leg so just a little upset. also I had to eat food once with spoon. didn't mind. “I brought my wife a chicken shawarma home. We don't live very close to the restaurant, but it was so good, she insists I drive all the way there to get take-out from now on. It was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection, the spices so flavorful, and the portion so much that she couldn't finish it. (She almost didn't let me have any, because she wanted to finish it 'later'! herslef! haha)“
