“I have been getting egg sandwiches from 117 for a couple of years now. We already know that no one makes a better egg sandwich for multiple reasons BUT LET ME TELL YOU. I just got a chicken cutlet sandwich for the first time from them and i feel obligated to let everyone know it was HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHICKEN CUTLET SANDWICH I HAVE EVER ATE IN MY LIFE. This whole time i always got egg sandwiches and today for lunch i went with the cutlet sandwich. I still can’t believe how good this was, and i have tried almost every egg sandwich and chicken cutlet in the islips. I promise you there’s no one that makes them better.”

“I want to thank the management and servers for such a Fabulous Thanksgiving meal. My elderly parent's need for accommodation was addressed. The service was extremely professional and courteous. All of the meals were deliciously prepared. I highly recommend this absolute Gem!”

“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!”

“We had my husband’s 60th birthday celebration dinner with 13 people at Jackson Hall on Sunday 12/21. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! I definitely recommend the burnt ends and calamari as appetizers, the lobster rolls, tomahawk pork chop (tremendous) and the pork osso buco was outstanding! We definitely left there with full bellies and leftovers 😊. Such a great restaurant”

“We were in town for a dance convention and after the long drive from CT we were all starving. We ended up at Francescos and we did not regret it! My friend and I couldn't decide so ordered the chicken piccatta and the chicken crispino to share, and our kids ordered a chicken parm and a chicken Ceasar salad. Everything was soo fresh and delicious! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back.”

“My family and I visited on Sunday, November 16, 2025, and had Gianna as our server. She greeted us with a smile and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. She made appetizer recommendations, and we went with the loaded fries.

The main meal arrived HOT; maybe I should have waited just a minute to sample my skillet meal! Gianna was always available for us and made sure that our glasses were never empty. She is a valuable asset to Applebee's East Islip.

We WILL be asking to have Gianna as our server from now on!”

“This is my husband and my spot by default. Staff is always friendly. What takes away from my perfect experience is the stale cones. After enjoying the ice cream part the cone leaves me saying I’m not coming back. I come back with the hopes I’d get a fresh one. They must find a way to keep the cones fresh.”
