“Best bowl spot in Huntington! I love Shahs. The owner of this place is the nicest store owner ever. Him and his brother care deeply about the quality of their food and the experience of their customers. They always give very nice portions that lasts an average person a few meals. I highly recommend as someone that has been going to this location for years. Also, get the white sauce on anything you get. If you cant tell by my photo, I love it.“

“Very nice team here, good vibes and multiple different kinds of vegetarian/vegan options. We had lunch at almost 2:30pm and the food was fresh. There were probably 5-10 people eating, this is clearly a popular spot.

updating my review because I posted before I had actually tried the food. It's really good. I got the chicken gyro pita and my wife got the vegan Impossible burger. My gyro tasted really good and healthy. Not overly oily and had the right amount of salt.

“Delicious Food, Fresh Flavors, Friendly & Fast service. These were the highlights of my visit. Yesterday, late at night we were looking for options for dinner and wanted a break from regular bowl meals we takeout. I had seen this place many a times while passing by and read reviews on google. I don’t know why I took so long to visit it. I absolutely loved the flavors, took a Zeus bowl and chicken skewers. It was nicely seasoned and most importantly cooked well. Owners are friendly. I would say it’s easy to miss this place, but do not miss it. Give it a try. ‘Cause I will be going again for some gyros 😊“

“The food was excellent! Had the Fried Calamari (but you can order grilled), and the Mediterranean Octopus salad. Both were good but we all really loved the octopus! We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. Very friendly service: the bartender, greeter, our waiter, all gave good vibes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“I went to check out the new location in Levittown after they closed their spot in Mineola. The new place looks great—clean, spacious, and welcoming.

I ordered my food to go, and it was ready by the time I got there. Everything was hot, freshly made, and delicious. I got the chicken souvlaki with grilled veggies, and it came with a small Greek salad. The portions are generous, and you definitely get your money’s worth.

The lamb gyro was also really good—tender, well-seasoned, and stuffed with meat. They definitely don’t skimp. The staff was super friendly, service was quick, and pickup was easy. Definitely worth the trip.“

“Shah’s Halal Food never disappoints! I normally stop here to grab a bite whenever I’m visiting the nearby Walmart, and it has become one of my go-to spots in the area.

This time I had the combo over rice with chicken and lamb, and it was delicious. The portion was generous, the meat was flavorful, and everything came together perfectly with the toppings, white sauce, and hot sauce. It’s definitely a filling meal for the price.

The restaurant is clean, service is usually quick, and the staff has always been friendly during my visits. If you’re in the Farmingdale area and looking for a good halal meal, this location is definitely worth checking out.“

Dennis the chef made the calamari which were fresh and the sauce was perfect .he came out afterwards to make sure I was happy with my appetizer and that everything was to part . The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! After the meal, they brought us two beautifully prepared desserts. And then before we left, the manager spent time talking to us and getting to know us on a more personal level. “We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“

“Rave review for Mediterranean Kebab House in Westbury. My husband and I went out to lunch with friends from Turkey. The problem was that our interpreter could not make it. My husband called the Restuarant to make reservations and asked if there was someone there that could help with the translating. Google is not always accurate. The person that answered the phone was the owner. He said that he would translate for us. He came to our table and translate for our group almost the entire time that we were there, while also taking care of his our clientele. The food was superb! We feasted on- Mediterranean salad Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, onions topped with feta cheese mixed with olive oil, vinegar, juice dressing. Family plate Chicken chops, chicken Shish, lamb Shish, lamb Adana, chicken Adana, lamb gyro, rice Mixed appetizers Hummus, babaganoush, eggplant salad, sauced eggplant and stuffed grape leaves.“
