“Shands is the coziest & most beautiful spot! The ambiance and service was so warm & welcoming upon entering. We had a seat up in front for some prime people watching on the Patchogue strip - it's such a nice change from the Brick House to have those front window tables! Extra points when the windows are open on nice days.

The craftsmanship in each cocktail, appetizer, entree, and dessert are obvious at first glance and later at first bite/sip. I also appreciate the quality offerings of the mocktail menu so those of us that don't drink can still enjoy a social tonic 🫶🏽

“ordered through slice and no where did it mention that I was ordering personal Pizzas. Ordered 2 pies thinking it would be enough for the whole family. Ended up having to order another pie from else where. Checked their website and it doesn't say anything about the size of the pizza either. pizza was good but I feel robbed“

“I want to start by saying the buffalo chicken egg rolls are the best and I mean THE BEST Buffalo chicken egg rolls I have ever had. I got garlic parm wings as my main and they were also delicious. Came on a weekend and it was very busy with live music so make reservations!“

“My mom and I hosted a baby shower here, just this past weekend, and we feel we need to scream from the rooftops just how amazing it was! The staff was phenomenal, anything we needed they were right there to help! The food was stellar and all of our guests were talking about how they wish they could load up to go containers from the buffet! If you ever have to throw an event, do yourself the favor and check them out! The owner is the nicest guy and really just went above and beyond to help make the shower perfect! If I could give more than 5 stars I would !!“

“To start my review, I just wish there were more stars in the food and service category. Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“

“Recently celebrated our daughter’s 1st Birthday here. After researching many venues in the area we landed with the Grille. Jenn (the event coordinator) was extremely friendly, professional and informative from the moment I called her to inquire about the space. The venue is a dual space. You have the catering room as well as the bar area where there are pool tables and a dart board. Perfect for our guests in their 20s. The food and staff were amazing. I cannot rave enough about Amy, Jenn, Steve, Ernesto and Sabrina. They were all so helpful and accommodating during our event. Jenn was extremely attentive and made sure we had all our desires fulfilled, up until the morning of the party. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Book them! You won’t regret it!“

“It's just an event space. Perfect for meetings and medium sized events. There was food served but it was catered by someone other then owners.

Parking: Location was difficult to find parking and the way the parking lot is very difficult to maneuver“

“Dined in, or outside actually. It nicely set up out back with some yard games and a big screen. Food was better than the usual fast food genre. Fries,wings and burgers were all fresh.Extra points for getting our order correct, would come back if in the area.“

“My family and I went backcountry camping in the wilderness section of the campground. The beach was beautiful with lots of interesting finds from the ocean! It can get very cold and windy, so keep that in mind when planning your attire and camp set up.

We also stumbled across an interesting arrangement of props that could either be a ritualistic site of a religion I don't know about or an art exhibit. Still pretty cool though!“

Starting from the Chefs welcoming homemade flat bread to the Margherita Pizza ( ask for the spiced honey for the pizza ) which was cooked perfectly giving the crust the old school crunch just like the city scrumptious appetizers the tuna tataki was delicious the best I've eaten yet as well as their specialty sushi rolls . Superb!! Dinner was a hard choice to pick however , I've tried a few dishes here the Salmon has a mild chili flavor making the dish that more exciting along with the flavor filled sides . My husband had the chicken Milanese which I cant begin to tell you the breaded cutlet covered the entire (not to thick not to thin ) dish with a refreshing arugula topping adjoining it with a delightful balsamic vinegar dressing . The linguine and clam sauce also made it to the table having a unique flavor of the chefs . Absolutely satisfying. Next time I may even ask if they can add toasted bread crumbs on top. Dessert OMG so they have a crumb apple tart / cake served with a side of ice cream and drizzled with Carmel - OK so here's when I wish I started dinner with this . Outstanding! Ending the evening with a double expresso and a perfect rind of lemon a companied by a nice glass of Sambuca (I was impressed when I asked for coffee beans and they had them ) I knew right there I'd be back sooner than later . You need to try that desert we wanted seconds but couldn't do it after all the food we had as the portions are big. The menu offers a nice selection of food. We enjoy the weekdays here for downtime the ambiance is relaxing . To where on the weekends we enjoy dinner and music here . So much fun ! Good people ! Great Chef! Enjoy!! Bon Appetite!!!“

Parking: Use your GPS to find it, I could have never found it on my own. It’s a quiet little spot. Very busy on weekend nights during the summer!“
