“The best REAL quesadillas I’ve ever had in my entire life. Customer service is phenomenal, the owners are incredibly friendly, the food is 100% of the time pure perfection. This place is an absolute must for anyone who wants homemade Mexican cuisine.“
“Beautiful atmosphere. Great service. Everything was clean and neat. The food was served in a timely manner and was delicious. Loved it. Had the Birria tacos. Tasty. Great portion sizes. The refried beans had flavor and everything was delicious.“
“Hands down one of the best places! Went for my honeys birthday and it did not disappoint. It is a bit of a high end restaurant but you can wear casual clothing without feeling out of place. The manager/owner did a few table touched just to make sure our experience was impeccable. My son ordered the chicken run under the impression it wasn't too spicy for him, unfortunately it was. She took it with no hesitation. He ordered chicken tenders instead and they were piping hot and perfect. Thank you Nosh!“
“I’ve been here 3 times and it’s been delicious every time. I keep getting the flautas because they’re so good. This time we got the birria tacos to share and they were amazing. I can’t believe it’s not more crowded in here. The margs are delicious and actually have liquor in them, and the queso con carne is so good and we’ve gotten it every time for about app. The staff are also so nice, 10/10 everyone should go here.“
“My wife and I were in Rochester for a conference and tried John’s Tex-Mex and they have really good Mexican food! We had the taco’s, chips with salsa and guacamole and few other dishes! Their original margaritas are legit! One will probably do it! Would highly recommend this place for Mexican food!“
“There were hardly any vegetarian options and none vegan ones.We ordered Street corn and a burrito ?.The corn was pretty good but the burrito lacked flavor. The complimentary salsa and chips was very nice ?Vegetarian options: Not a lot, just 5-6“
“WOW! Excellent service, delicious food, fun decor ... what more could we ask for! My husband and I visited on a Taco Tuesday and our server Hannah was amazing. We started with house margaritas that had a sugar rim. They were very refreshing and there were fresh blueberries in his drink. When we asked for a sampler of dipping items for our corn tortillas, Hannah was quick to let us know she would "hook us up with all the things!" The kitchen did not disappoint. We had hot, melted queso; salsa Verda and Roja; along with guacamole. The street tacos were also filled with flavor and my personal fav was the Al pastor tacos. We got the special deal of the day which was 4 tacos for the price of 3. It was memorable and we would highly recommend! Viva Taco Tuesday!“
“It's a nice little place, the customer service was great, but I wasn't too thrilled with the vegetarian enchiladas which absolutely had no sauce on it, very little cheese if any and only on the top not inside. The corn tortillas weren't cooked, they were just dry and the rice was just white steamed rice and there was no Mexican rice and the beans were black beans, which I was hoping for refried beans which is more authentic, from my experience. Most Mexican restaurants give you free chips and salsa with your order (hands down) but margarita charges 7+It's a bit disappointing, but it is what it is .If you really want authentic Mexican food go to a little hole in the all in sodus point off old ridge called El Rincon, it's amazing and the son has a similar one in canandaigua....I'll definitely be back to margaritas, but I'll have to try something else next time ?It was good, but it wasn't exactly authentic Mexican food, not from what I'm used to living in California and in Tennessee“
“We had been waiting for weeks for this taco spot to open, and wow did it deliver! The tacos were delicious. We got an assortment of steak, chicken and al pastor tacos to go. They added bonus chips and a selection of salsas in our takeout bag. We also got horchata, which was fantastic. All came to $20 for 4 large tacos, horchata, and chips and salsa. Great value. The tacos were flavorful and filling. Healthy and fresh. No food coma after. They were perfectly seasoned and flavorful (not salty, not greasy). We're thinking about going back this weekend for the breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious!“
“We've been meaning to check out Aguilera's, so glad we did! We got delivery through GrubHub so we still haven't been in to eat, but the food was absolutely stellar. We ordered basic chicken tacos, birria tacos, and el pastor tacos - chips, salsa, and a couple of churros to top it off. Everything was outstanding. Crazily enough my favorite thing was the rice and beans that came on the side. Typically a "filler" dish, the rice and beans was absolutely stellar -the beans part was more like a thin sauce, but it was so flavorful I will definitely be ordering extra next time. Everything was really flavorful, well seasoned, just a damn fine meal.“
“Second time and both have been dine out so I can't speak for the service or atmosphere but the food is amazing!! I'm picky when it comes to Mexican food. This is not an Americanized Mexican restaurant. Authentic ingredients, authentic recipes authentic taste ?? They have me as a customer for life. Keep up the good work Nenos!“
“Best Mexican food in Rochester. There's a large bar when you enter the space and the margaritas were excellent. The dishes from the appetizers to the desert had a tremendous amount of flavor. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be back.“
“We visited Rochester from Philadelphia for a family event and were blown away at how good the food was here! The space has a nice vibe to it as well. The Baconita burrito is hands down the best burrito I have ever had.Do not sleep on their sister brand Madd Macs either. We opted for the classic mac and loved every bite! Will definitely be visiting here again!“
“Ordered food here for the first time and it was amazing! The portion sizes are good and fairly quick. I would recommend giving a little more chips in each meal. Most of their food is spicy. If that is not your thing I would ask for no spice. We will definitely be going back soon!“
“First time here and it was a great experience. Quality for price is evident by its popularity with families and young adults. I had baja fish tacos and partner had chimichanga. The meals come with chips and salsa. We both thought the generous portions were absolutely delicious. The salsa was nice and spicy, all ingredients were fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend for casual, high quality Mexican.“
“The food is always great at Monte Alban, and we've been coming here for years! Their chips and homemade salsa are the best! The servers are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you're happy. My husband has a dairy allergy, and they are very careful with his order. So excited that they're opening a new location!“
“The food is okay. Not a lot of spice , some subtle flavors here and there, good quantity for the price.Margaritas are good and they have a lot of different flavors.Staff were great and overall the experience was good. We left full and satisfied. The overall take away, simpler fare, good prices and food staff.“
“We got a taco bar delivered for a party and it was such a hit! An incredibly easy way to accommodate all food preferences and allergies as everyone could customize their meal completely. They do not scrimp on the toppings! The customer service was also excellent and delivery was on time, hot, and packaged well. Both Dave and his brother were so helpful giving us serving tips and any information we needed. Incredibly appreciated!“
“The service was a little slow, but I think there were only 2 employees working that day, and they were clearly doing a good job with what they had.The food at this place is pretty great! The molcajete may seem a bit pricey, but for the amount of food you get, it was totally worth it!“
“Nice place. Amaizing food. As a Mexican food offer, not to much selection of food, but the ones were very tasty. Alcohol was a varierity of coctels some good and others not so good. Atmosphere: place is pretty in the inside but music was not so good.“
“Came here. Extremely busy. It was a Friday night. The food was great. Drinks are very good, not watered down at all. I will definitely come back for many years to come.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free food. Lots of options are gluten free“
“Carne asada was amazing! Calamari was cooked perfectly, and the gnocchi was to die for! Highly recommend! Staff was friendly and amazing and very on top of everything, if i could give it 10/10 i would! Thank you for an amazing meal also the atmosphere was perfect!Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp for wheelchairs!“
“Very cute low key happy hour next to the fairport canal. I met a friend there the other night for a drink and shared entree. We opted for the nachos with Shrimp. They were pretty good. Pretty garlicky. Big portion. Definitely enough for the two of us. The chairs at the bar are a little small but we did love the atmosphere. I would go there again because I do love the location.“
“I love the chicken soup and made to order guacamole. My husband always tries other menu items and enjoys them too but I just can't pass up the soup. Eating there as opposed to delivery is best - food is served hot with generous portions. I look forward to reheating leftovers. Always service with a smile and just the right attention. A relaxed family friendly place to go, even when very busy. Trivia/game nights are loud fun but the hosts seem to take special care to seat us around the corner so the noise becomes more background and we can actually hear each other. One thing I do suggest is to try to eat there instead of delivery or take out.Parking: Never have a problem.Kid-friendliness: I watch how the staff treats kids there - cheerful, accommodating even with "difficult" behaviors.“
“I have to admit, the place is beautiful. I love the authentic Mexican style. Taco Tuesday is my favorite. You receive three generous tacos of your choice for $5. My preference is the beef taco. Although I did try the chicken taco which was pretty tasty. Nice place to bring your family and friends. Almost forgot the chicken and rice combination. Umm umm good. Great service and hospitality.Vegetarian options: Salads are great.“
“This place was great. Food was very tasty. Drinks were excellent. They screwed up one order but made up for it enthusiastically. The ambiance was cool without being pretentious. Small place but that was part of the charm. It was packed. Would definitely go back.“
“This is my favorite Chipotle location. They have generous portions and everything is always accurate on pick up orders. In person the staff are always friendly and very quick and seem to have a great rapport with one another. The overall attitude seems positive and cheerful. You can tell the management values their employees and takes the time to train them and ensure adequate staffing for busy times of day.“
“Everytime ive ordered theyve gotten my food to me in a timely manner and never forget or mess up ingredients. A lot of taco bell locations ive been to have, but theyve been a trusted location for me. I dont eat meat anymore so I typically sub meat for beans.Vegetarian options: Veggie power bowl, fiesta veggie burrito, cheesy bean and rice burrito, cheese quesdilla, potato soft taco, black bean chalupa, cheesy gordita crunch sub meat for beans or rice.“
“Having lived all over the country in the past few decades, and having eaten at countless Taco Bells over that time, this is the single best one I've ever been to. From the staff, to the cleanliness, to the speed and accuracy of orders, I've yet to find a single thing to nitpick about. Truly a top notch location!“
“Very good drinks, the pomegranate and blood orange margaritas are my favorite. The drinks are strong and not watered down. The bar tender is fast and friendly. My only wish was that they served food or other snacks besides the chips n salsa.“
“The food is fine. But the service!! I love the bartenders, theservers, the host, and the bussers are hilarious. They literally put the happy in happy hour. I come every Thursday just to see the staff and catch up. And their margaritas are actually taste like alcohol!!“
“The last time I went, the girl had so much patience with me it was a nice change. Usually I have someone who acts annoyed that I ask even one question so I was thankful for that. The order is never correct if I order more than a couple things. Always forget my cheese for the chips & cheese or any side dips needed.“
“Go here once a month. Do like it, generally good food, but can vary in quality. I Like it's actually cooked there. Servers friendly but seems they might be under pressure to go fast & rush us out. Tables, this time, needed cleaning. May have been an off night. I will go again.“
“I did drive thru around noon on a Sunday, and the was no line, service was good, food was piping hot and delicious.I took a star off the service just because it was a little slow (like they weren't expecting anyone), but they were polite, and it was only a minute or two wait.As for atmosphere, it's just a taco bell, but I wasn't even sure it was open, looking at it from outside...“
