“We went on a really busy Friday night and they were able to seat us very quickly. The service was pretty good for how slammed they were. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is not your place. I rate the food 6.6/10. Slightly elevated Mexican American. Overall not a bad place to go. I would eat here again.

“I used Alto Cinco to cater my wedding. They were so communicative and helpful through out the entire planning. They helped me decide the right amount of food and what sort of food would fit my party the best. They provided labels, utensils, and serving trays - and even delivered! The food was phenomenal and it received compliments all night. I can not recommend Alto Cinco catering enough!!!“

“I really enjoy walking into an independently owned establishment that serves good, hearty food and knows what they're good at.

I ordered a chicken quesadilla with everything on it. There was a good sized line but the gentleman who helped me didn't rush or show any signs of hurrying. That was greatly appreciated. Also, the people in line didn't seem to mind the wait, probably because they knew the food was worth it!

My quesadilla was thick and properly toasted. A little char on the edges, crispy and folded to perfection. I was in the restaurant for less than 10 minutes.

I'm looking forward to my next visit for sure. I want to try the pulled pork!

Parking: More than enough space to accommodate a busy lunch hour. Even if the lot is full, Street parking is readily available right next to the establishment.“

“I don’t normally go out of my way to leave a review for a restaurant, but I had to for this one. To start the people are super inviting, friendly and personable, I ordered two beef birria tacos with salsa verde. The salsa was very good and added a really nice flavor to the tacos. The tacos themselves were so good I went back to order more, the meat was insanely tender and well seasoned, they give a very generous portion, there was enough meat to where when I bit into it, meat came out the other end. The “consumè” was very good, but my only complaint about it would be it’s pretty thin and is more of just a meat juice than a traditional consumè, but again still very good and added so much flavor to the taco. I have had other birria places, but for the price and portions you get I definitely think it is better than other places around. If you have a chance I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Took hubby for birthday dinner in a blinding snowstorm from Moravia..was worth the white knuckles. Great atmosphere Megan( Red) made us welcome and got our drinks. Hubby had the steak and lobster($20 on Tues nites) awesome! I had the 12 os strip and fries($10). Never had it done so perfect!!( I like well and most char it) pretzel and cheese for dessert..lol and crispy but juicy wings were excellent! We will return its worth the drive!!!“

“Excellent! We ordered catering from Papa Gallo for 20 members of our family to take to a hockey tournament in Vermont. Both Mark and Antonio could not have been better to work with. The quantity and quality of the food was excellent and was well prepared and packaged so all we had to do was warm it up before serving to our family including the ones who played in the hockey games. We highly recommend eating at the restaurant or using their catering service since everything was seamless. Everyone commented on how good the food was and we are looking forward to eating at the restaurant and ordering catering for our next event!“

“Great hidden gem in Tipp Hill! Check the bar’s Instagram page first, the menu changes a bit from time to time… but that’s what I like! Always spotting different things to try, Dennis is great. “This place is amazing. They own a bigger restaurant in canastota ( La Bamba MTZ ). This is a smaller mostly to go restaurant but they have tables and you are welcome to stay and eat. The family that owns it is so friendly, although there aren’t many workers there it’s because it’s a small family business. The food is really really good and it’s definitely more authentic Mexican food. They are happy to substitute items within the menu whenever. One review stated the food is not made there and that is incorrect as I’ve seen them grill my steak when I went right after it opened. Highly reccomended this small gem in Manlius!!“
