“i’m here to tell you the hype is true. The burritos are so freaking good. The sauce is immaculate. I always ask for extra sauce. My favorite is the sausage burrito and the bacon. I usually get both and eat half-and-half and split it with my partner. lol

“If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. The rice goes so well with the crunchy vegetables and the grilled pork chop. Overall, this place is so good.“

While there are at least five different options for me to get to closer to our home, I will walk further to this location to get a latte over those other places. This cafe appears plain at first, but they’ve got an extensive menu and good food, solid fare for a runner at the end of a long jog, and attentive and warm staff. The regulars were friendly and Duaa herself was present when I went. She’s the six-year-old daughter of the owners and was fluttering between patrons. A great start to my day.“

Many reviews mention that the food is excellent, that there’s a great beer selection, and that the service is friendly, and this is all absolutely true, but I want to highlight something else that was exciting for us—all of the menu items can be made vegan!

My wife is vegan and hasn’t been able to have malawach or jachnun in many years, so she was thrilled to be able to try them again. The malawach and jachnun are vegan at this location, but they are served with an egg—however, this egg can be replaced with a vegan egg alternative. When Anthony saw how excited my wife was about the malawach she ordered, he gave us some of the jachnun for free! Both were delicious, and so was the cheese and spinach bureka I had. We will definitely be back!“

“I've been to 47 states and Greystone makes the best mocha I've ever tasted, hands down. The chocolate croissant is quite nice, as well. The staff and customers are pleasant and always are quick to assist me with getting my wheelchair in and out of the small but comfortable seating area.“
