15 Best Pizza Restaurants near Elba

“I have a long drive ahead of me from Buffalo to Philadelphia in a tanker truck. I just kind of wanted pizza. It didn’t have to be the best, any pizza would’ve been fine. The closest place was in a town called Alba. The first question I asked when I called was about whether or not they had good pizza. They practically laughed at me. I ordered a large thin crust pizza with light cheese, tomato, bacon, mushrooms, and pineapple. Yeah, pineapple. They didn’t judge me about it. Extra-crispy. Order it extra-crispy. They told me they had a white sauce so I doubled up the order. That’s what you do. They even cut it into squares for me. I think that’s always the move. Square-cut. I don’t know how to say this, I’ve never had a thin crust like this before. I should’ve known it was going to be special when I saw their flour-grinding machine behind the counter. The thing was ancient and they had just used it. There was flour all around it. I’ve had Pizza from all over the country. No one has a thin crust like this. It’s super crispy, airy, chewy, flaky and have a dense-but-light quality about it. I can’t describe it. I’m eating a piece right now. And I’ve got two of these monsters on my passenger seat. This is insane. I cannot get over this crust. I have no idea how they made this. Nobody has a crust like this. This place absolutely blows my mind. It’s one of the most gorgeous areas I’ve seen in the entire country. There’s a cute candy shop across the street, and this crust on this pizza, I don’t even know what to say. This crust! You have got to be kidding me. I mean, what can I do but drop a pin on this place and make sure every time I’m traveling along this route, which wont be nearly often enough, believe me, drop in and order a couple of these thin crust pizzas. Just like this. I was not expecting this from a random Pizza stop in the middle of West New York. Chicago has nothing like this, by the way. I’ve had all the best Pizza in Chicago. There are some mighty fine pizza restaurants in Chicago, no doubt. But I swear, nobody has a crush like this. I think I’m gonna stop eating pizza. I’m willing to only eat pizza from Andy’s. If I have pizza for anywhere else, especially a thin crust pizza, I’m just going to be thinking about that one time I stopped in the middle of Western New York and found the best thin crust anywhere in America. Maybe some other country has a crust like this, but I doubt it. This is crazy. What a find. I’m blown away. This crust! Damn. Absolutely sublime.“

“The pizza here is always hot and loaded with the perfect amount of toppings, and the crust is absolutely delicious. The chicken wings are cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce. The mozzarella sticks come with a unique dipping sauce that’s definitely worth trying. Service is fast—our food is usually ready for pickup within 15–20 minutes—and the staff is always very pleasant. A great spot we keep coming back to.“

“It's a plain atmosphere with good conversation amongst locals and the interior looks the exact same as it always has. The sauce was delicious, the cheese was stretchy and melty. The crust had a nice crunch yet soft at the same time. The customer service was professional and helpful. My partner asked for extra cheese. If you want to eat the pizza from a Goofy movie, order with extra cheese, it looks the exact same! It's not really a necessity tho. I definitely recommend!“

“What an amazing find! Portions size is well worth what you. The flavor they bring is out of this world where your taste buds won't be disappointed. I had the honey badger personal pizza that was bigger than my 10 inch dinner plate. There was heat, there was sweet, there was salvory and to have bacon and chicken just finished out the combo. The pizza dough, duuude, was nice crisp on the bottom and soft in the middle. If you get a chance to go e your taste buds an experience highly recommend this place.“
