“Finally got to try the fish fry’s that sell out every Friday night. 10 out of 10! Fish was light and fluffy, breading was crunchy/crisp. Generous portions. Reminded me of getting fish fry’s in the good old days with my parents.“

“I grew up in Greece. Worked for a pontillos that was near the mall. I have bought pizza from this place here in spencerport since 2006. Tonight a mishap happened. As a business owner myself I understand mistakes happen. We are human after all. They corrected the issue extremely fast I was very happy about that. Wasn't expecting anything else but it was a nice gesture for sure. Pontillos does a great job and will clearly continue seeing my order. “I bought some pizzas for my employees a week ago and we all agreed that they have the best pizza on the west side. Fast forward to today, my 4 year old is demanding pizza at a time where all the good pizza places are out of slices. I called and the owner offered to make a mini pizza specifically for her and also refused to let me pay him. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing people. Thank you!“

“A classic Italian family pizza spot that is clearly doing something right.

I ordered a half cheese, half peppers and onions large pizza for a family birthday and it came out smelling exactly like the pizza my mom used to make when we were kids.

Everyone who works there clearly has decades of history between them, communicating in quick glances, jokes about family members, and sharing a warmth that you can only get in a place that is doing something well. Definitely want to try more of their specialty menu at some point and will be back for more.“

“Ordered a supreme pizza minus black olives. The sauce is on the sweeter side, thin crust and a good amount of toppings. The sausage on the pizza was really good, they said they make it. This was our second time ordering from them and will again!“

First off, they contacted me when the game was rescheduled and offered accommodations so that I could get the pizza and bake it myself as they weren’t open on Monday when the game would be played. THEN called back again to let me know they were going to open on Monday after all and scheduled a time for me to pick up my pizza. Awesome customer service and only outdone by the delicious pizza!! “Churchville Pontillos is always our go-to pizza place. They have AMAZING pizza, and are always friendly and accommodating.Tonight, though, they went above and beyond! I asked for a heart shaped pizza for Valentine's Day, and not only did they deliver, they even through in a Valentine on the inside of the box! Little things like this show how much they truly care and put their heart into these amazingly delicious pizzas! Not to mention, it was delicious as always!“

“I need to make you aware of a wonderful diamond in the rough on Rochester’s west side. My wife and I visited this quaint Lower Manhattan style eatery with my brother-in-law and his wife. This unassuming place from the outside pleasantly surprises once you enter with its quaint bar area, blacked out ceiling and twin open kitchen stations. First litmus test is the quality of bread with a full complement of spices to prep your own dipping oil. Check! Special of the day, Seared Halibut on a bed of risotto, didn’t disappoint, nor did my samples of homemade Rigatoni à la Bolognese (just like Mom’s Sunday sauce) or the Chicken Milanese! Completed the meal with an ample slice of homemade Ricotta Cheesecake with Berry Compote. The owner checked in with us several times. The table service was perfect. The glass enclosed wine cellar in the middle of the dining area completed an impressive ambience and dining experience. Run don’t walk to this most pleasant gastro treat!“

“We didn’t get a pizza. Just went in to try out the Ice Cream Shoppe that sell Hersheys ice cream.

A lovely young lady named Kayelyn was very helpful as I sampled out a few flavours I hadn’t tried before.

The Salted Caramel Truffle was delicious and the kids portion size was humongous! I am ow experiencing a food coma.

My partner had the Chocolate Chip in Cake Cone and he loved it.

There is plenty of seating.

“I was impressed with the quick service, was in and out the door fast even though the place was very busy. Pizza was great and hit the spot, I think the pricing is average nothing extravagant. I will say the wings could use more sauce, I was a bit disappointed that they were dry but I'll just make note to ask for extra sauce next time. I will buy from here again!“
