“This was my first time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken, and it definitely did not disappoint! I had the Dave’s #2 with medium spice, which was absolutely perfect. I’ve never had a chicken sandwich this good—huge compliments to the chefs!

As a pickle fan, I really appreciated the extra pickles—such a great touch. If Dave’s were to expand to more countries in Europe, I have no doubt it would be a huge success.

The only downside was that the location felt a bit messy and unclean, but given that it was during rush hour and it's a fast-food spot, it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, a fantastic experience—highly recommended!“

“Ok, I never write reviews, but I've had two phenomenal experiences at The Fly and needed to share!! Not only is the atmosphere perfect (lighting, candles, sexy, ENERGY, music!!) and food perfectly executed (cesar with the crispiest romaine! The green beans! The green sauce! The potatoes! The chicken!!!) but what stands out to me most is the hospitality. It's exceptional. Warm, inviting, attentive, playful. You feel taken cared of, special, safe, and like you belong – I truly cannot say that about many places in NYC where folks are jaded and, in my opinion, have lost the art of true hospitality.

This is a neighborhood spot I will return to again and again and again. HUGE shoutout to Hector and Peter for giving us two amazing experiences both times. We had a blast and that's really what it's all about. We love you guys!! Thank you for all that you do – it's really important work. xx“

“Got the tenders and fries, the chicken was super juicy and tender and the seasoning on it was enough to eat in its own but the sauces brought it to another level. The fries were crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside and also seasoned to perfection. This is a must go if youre in the area“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. “This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“

You can share the slider entree with crinkle fries it’s so filling. Doesn’t come with a drink. The spice is curry-esque, even if you don’t like curry you will like this!“

Their chicken sandwich is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. On top of that, the service was fantastic! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Also the sweet plantains seem air fried maybe ? Not oily at all?? but the Mac and cheese, the noodles are too soft. I would also recommend that some cheese be sprinkled on the Mac before being heated, add some spices too. The Yuka fries are good. But I will say that my bf said the chicken sandwich was just okay.
