“Ordered the fish fry for the first time but it won’t be the last time. There was a big piece of crispy fish (with a side of tarter), a large portion of French fries, a hearty serving of creamy mac & cheese plus a cup of cole slaw. EVERYTHING was yummy!“

“Rye Bar & Restaurant is a gem and a testament to what Charlie Hunter has built in Elmira. He took a beloved classic Irish pub and kept all of its soul and heritage while elevating it into one of the best restaurants in the area.
The themed nights are brilliant - I just did the Whisky & Beef Wellington dinner and the wedge salad and the beef were outstanding. And his other spot, The Garage, is just as good for breakfast and lunch - don’t miss the lemon poppy seed scones and brown bread.
Charlie is not just serving great food, he’s creating community. A lot of heart, a lot of work, and it shows.“
