“Always make the longer drive to come here. Their boneless spare ribs are amazing and better than any other I’ve tasted in the area. The kids at the counter are always super nice and helpful. If I wait in my car, they bring me the food which they don’t have to but I appreciate.“

“I have always been a fan but today I am sick. The last two times I have gone it's been terrible. The older woman who usually cooks wasn't there. The egg rolls were old and mushy, the fried rice flavorless and the lo mien was soggy.“

“On our way to visit my son at college, we were looking for a place to eat. Luckily, we found Moon Star Restaurant. We really love the food there. Very surprised to find very good and authentic chinese food so far away from NYC. We got the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and General Tso's Chicken. The food was absolutely terrific. It was really an oasis for us after a long drive.“

“Chinese food takeout is a go-to comfort meal that never disappoints. With its variety of savory, flavorful dishes and generous portions, it’s both tasty and filling. One of the classic highlights is the combination plate—often featuring sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and an egg roll. The chicken is perfectly crispy, coated in a tangy, sweet glaze that’s both rich and addictive. The fried rice comes packed with diced vegetables, scrambled egg, and bits of pork or chicken, bringing every bite to life.
Another fan favorite is General Tso’s chicken: tender chunks of chicken in a sweet, spicy sauce that clings to the crispy batter. It pairs perfectly with lo mein, where soft, chewy noodles soak up a garlicky soy-based sauce and mingle with stir-fried vegetables.
No Chinese takeout meal feels complete without soup. Wonton soup is a top pick—light, clear broth with pork-filled wontons that melt in your mouth. Hot and sour soup is another standout, thick and bold, with tofu, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots offering texture and flavor.
Chinese takeout offers a rich experience full of flavor and comfort. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you full, satisfied, and already planning your next order.“

“Standard chinese takeout place. Ordered on a Monday around 8 pm and got the Sesame Chicken and Pork and garlic sauce. The pork is a roast pork style meat with mixed veggies. The sesame chicken was crispy, had seasame seeds and a very good sweet sauce. It complimented the pork very well because the sauce for that was on the spicy side and balanced well. Honestly thought the food rivaled 'Empire' which is probably our favorite Chinese place in the Binghamton area.
Will have to try again“

“Food was excellent. Fast and friendly service. The restaurant was quiet, clean and accessible to everyone. Even handicapped people can get in to the restaurant which is important to me. They are open late and the menu items are priced just right considering the huge portions. They were sensitive to my seafood allergy and assured me they used different pans/fryers for the fish. They even deliver. By far one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants in Endicott.“

“This place is the best. I drive 31 miles from where I live just to go here because honestly this is THE BEST Chinese I've ever had. I've been here a long time ago and I was hoping that it was still here and I was so happy it was. I've had multiple different places food and it was never the same.
The Lucky Kitchen is by far the best. They even gave me a free dish to go with what I ordered, Thank you!!
I can't wait to be back here again I 100% recommend“

“UPDATE AS OF 8/31/24... THEY MUST HAVE GOTTEN A NEW COOK BECAUSE THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. MY DAUGHTER LOVES THE CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI AND MY SON LOVES THE BEEF AND BROCCOLI.
Not good food. And they won't take it back either
Parking: You have to go down the driveway and then there's a huge parking lot behind it“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can’t say enough good things about China Star Restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue in Binghamton! Their dinner special is an absolute steal generous portions, fresh ingredients, and flavors that hit all the right spots. The shrimp egg rolls are a personal favorite; perfectly crispy on the outside with a delicious, filling that keeps me coming back for more. The staff is always friendly, and the service is quick, making it a go-to spot for a satisfying meal. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try China Star you won’t be disappointed!“
“I used to eat here a lot while I was living in Binghamton for my education at Binghamton University. I really lived their fried rice with some spice. I used to pay 2 dollars and some change for one serving. It was mainly a take out restaurant but I must say there are lots of great memories with this place. I visited this restaurant recently and I must say that it is not the same taste as it used to be few years back. Non the less it is a nice place to have a quick bite as food preparation time is not much :)“

“Our favorite Chinese restaurant closed, so we searched for another that delivers. We tried several others, but no good. I judge the restaurant by their Hot & Sour Soup. If that's not good, chances are nothing is. We then tried New Century. We've already ordered from them a few times.. In our opinion, we give New Century 10 out of 10 Stars! Everything we've ordered is EXCELLENT, including the soup! 😉“

“I went here years ago and it was not good. I rediscovered them recently when we ordered delivery. The others one was on Pennsylvania Ave Binghamton. This was superior to that and I would recommend trying it again if you weren’t impressed before you will be now.“

“Been here several times, I work walking distance so this place is right there for me. It's a go-to for me and my coworkers. Their lunch special is a generous portion size, I usually take the rest home for dinner. I've lived in several states and I always try to find good Chinese first. I love their pork lo mein and sesame chicken are spectacular!“

“All of these bad reviews on here are just people who don’t know how to order right complaining when they aren’t clear over the phone. This place has the objective best chinese food in the area for the prices and you would be crazy NOT to get food from here unless you’re willing to spend insane prices for food thats not that much better than this place anyways. That being said, be realistic—this is a cost effective and good place to eat, not some upscale Michelin Star eatery, seems like a lot of these reviews fail to understand that. My go to’s are the black pepper chicken combo and the boneless spare rib combo and I have yet to be disappointed ONCE in the last three years.“

“They have great food here! We regularly order sushi & hibachi dinners. Our favorite roll is the Dragon Roll. They have a great COVID friendly set-up. We wish they would have special sushi rolls occasionally and maybe list it here on Facebook. We would love that!“

“Love New Panda in Endicott!Consistently excellent food! Our favorite Chinese take out, year after year.
Our favorites: the wonton and hot sour soups, the BBQ boneless ribs, the fried rice and lo mein, the Kung Pao, the Szechuan Chicken, and the Moo
Goo Gai Pan. They have been very pleasant about requesting substitution of ingredients. The meat and vegetables have always been fresh and high quality. The Healthy menu is great for people who need better control of their sodium.“
