“Stopped in to dine at the Pizza Hut on Patriot Place in Evans Mills while we were on the road. It might’ve been my first time eating Pizza Hut since I was a kid—back when you earned that personal pan pizza for reading books at school. Honestly, still one of the smartest promotions ever.

Pizza Hut hasn’t changed all that much since then (the décor is a bit more updated), but the personal pan pizza took me straight back. Even before the first bite, the smell hit and it was instant nostalgia.

It was also my kids’ first time ever having Pizza Hut. We usually avoid chains/processed food as much as we can, but road trips require compromises to keep the peace and prevent a full-on backseat mutiny. Everyone loved their personal pan pizzas—it hit the spot, we ate, and we were back on the road fast.

One thing that surprised me: it was totally dead inside. The woman behind the counter said we were the first customers in a day or two, which honestly blew my mind. Either way, the service was friendly and the food delivered exactly what we needed in the moment.

“Placed order, an hour later still had not gotten it. Manager delivered to us 10 minutes after we called to find out where it was. All his help left and he continued to prepare the orders they had taken and deliver. Food was out of this world. Will order again“

“Art's Jug has been has been one of Watertown New York's go to spots for dining for at least 50 years. Eat in or take out the food is always above par. One of their famous dishes is the anti pasta salad, you will see one on almost every table when you enter the establishment. They specialize in Italian dishes. Sit down, order up and enjoy, you will not be disappointed!“

“If cocktail magic had a home address, it would be The Craft 836, where the bartender wasn’t just a drink-slinger—oh no—this professional mixology wizard seemed to craft beverages with the finesse of someone who may or may not have trained with celestial beings. Every glass that left the bar glowed with the promise of happiness, good decisions, and possibly better posture. And then… the Craft and Jamaican dry rub chicken wings. Scrumptious doesn’t even begin to describe them. These wings strutted onto the table like they knew they were the star of the show—juicy, spicy, and seasoned so perfectly you’d swear they had their own PR team. Meanwhile, everything coming out of the kitchen looked so jaw-droppingly delicious it made me question every life choice that led me to not ordering that, that, and definitely that. Even the ordering app was a delight. A simple QR scan and—voilà!—this sixty-something woman was tapping, selecting, and paying with the grace of a digital native. No confusion. No panic. No accidentally ordering seventeen sides of fries. (Though honestly, that might not have been the worst fate.) Kudos to the staff and management—this place runs like a well–garlic-oiled machine: smooth, flavorful, and leaving you wanting more. Five stars, a happy belly, and a newfound confidence in QR codes. “My husband and I went to the Sports Page for the first time this week. Being new to the area, we are always trying to find places locally to have lunch or dinner or a night out. Jody was there and we had great conversations, the food was very good and the bartender was attentive. Wing night Thursday's is a treat and you definitely get a good deal. I can't speak much for the atmosphere as there weren't many in at that time(around 6pm or so) but it's clean and the drinks were cold. It was a great visit. We look forward to upcoming changes and will definitely go back!“

“I hosted a surprise engagement party this last Saturday at 1812 on the River. Everything from the food, service and atmosphere were incredible. Michelle and her staff were phenomenal. The bartenders who worked the party for us on the 3rd floor were very attentive, friendly and accommodating! We had a variety of pizzas and appetizer dips and they were amazing - guests were very impressed. Highly recommend this venue for any party!“
