Dark Horse has been around almost a decade and is a favorite for many to visit. I've been there many times. The food is fantastic and the bar is well decorated. The bartenders are very friendly and nice. Lots of room. Being a popular bar in a college town comes with some cons tho. It can get very overcrowded late at night. Sometimes the bar is too full, and too drunk, creating a somewhat uneasy environment where people get too rowdy, and bouncers and security are often on edge....read full review
Great bar! They have lots of fun events to attend from trivia to paint night. The bartenders are all so nice and make delicious cocktails. The bar snacks were all very good. We had the buffalo dip, dumplings/fried goyza, and fried pickles (our favorite). Highly

We had SUCH a great time here. Service was excellent. The playlist is so fun, and the bartender was incredibly personable. I was joking about loving fig jam so he surprised me a fig cocktail! Now THAT is service! Love this place! (Also the pretzel bites with Brie and fig were phenomenal, but of course I’m biased as a fig fan ?)
