“I wanted to update my review after hearing directly from the owner. I appreciate him taking the time to personally reach out, review what happened, and acknowledge my concerns. It means a lot when a business owner takes customer feedback seriously and is willing to have a genuine conversation.

We chose Rolling Pin Bakery because our wedding package included this bakery as an option, and after our tasting, we preferred their cake over the other choice. I want to emphasize that the cake itself was wonderful—it looked beautiful, tasted great, and was delivered on time. The decorators did an excellent job, and we were happy with the final product.

My original concerns were not about the cake, but about the communication experience leading up to our wedding. As the wedding got closer, we reached out to confirm that everything was set. Having reassurance and confidence in those final details is incredibly important when planning such a meaningful day.

On the morning of our wedding, after not receiving a response to our check-in email & call a few days prior, we called because we wanted to make sure everything was on track. During that conversation, we learned there had been an issue with our paperwork. Thankfully, the bakery did have our cake scheduled and everything came together, but hearing that information during such an important and emotional time created unnecessary stress. We were at the point of discussing whether we needed a backup plan, which is not something any couple wants to be thinking about the morning of their wedding.

Thankfully, everything ultimately worked out. We are truly grateful for the work that went into creating such a special part of our wedding day.

After speaking with the owner, I appreciate his acknowledgment that the communication could have been handled differently and that a simple reassurance would have made a significant difference. I believe feedback is valuable when it helps businesses improve, and I appreciate that he was willing to listen and take the time to understand my perspective.

I am updating this review from 2 stars to 4 stars because of the way the owner handled my concerns after the fact. His willingness to personally reach out, acknowledge where things could have been better, and have a respectful conversation reflects the kind of customer care I hope businesses strive for. While my original concerns remain valid, I also believe businesses should be recognized when they take accountability and make an effort to improve.

Overall, we enjoyed our cake and appreciate Rolling Pin Bakery being part of our special day. My hope is that future couples have both the beautiful final product we received and the communication and reassurance that make the entire experience as stress-free and enjoyable as it should be.“

“Really like this bakery. My first order was a customized M & M cake, and communication as to the day got mixed up. They raced to get the cake made for my office party regardless and delivered it on time. The cake was delicious as well. Ive ordered there several times after, and have never been disappointed.“

“Good entertainment. Staff is friendly. Kids night was fun especially for the children. Wish they would organize the kids night better like when the mascots come out, there should be a line so the kids can take turns with alone time with the characters instead of rallying around them.“

“I coach the three young boys of the owners here for swimming and have been looking forward to trying out their restaurant and coming here for desert. I ended up getting take out last night but still had to stop by to grab froyo for after. Not a single regret. I had had their frozen yogurt before from them having brought it in to an SSC practice for the kids to enjoy (Goat move) but this was the first time I had gone into the store. The whole place had a lovely atmosphere full of life and enjoyment. There were teenagers hanging out, people talking, the owner making sure everything was going smoothly, it all around had an incredible and nostalgic vibe. Additionally the selection was fantastic, heaps of options to choose from, many of which being fat free, and gluten free options available! The huge cherry on top is the owners are absolutely fantastic people and seeing how they treat their staff and guests like family it is easy to see how they are raising such incredible young men. Definitely recommend trying out and stopping next door to try the Dragon Chinese Resta next door owned by the same family! (I know Ill be back!:))“

“Love this place. This best frozen yogurt and so many toppings even though I only take one. Kids will love it. It is very clean and every person who ever waited on me there has provided good service and had a positive attitude. Tuesday is buy one get one. Love the tart flavor and good old vanilla the best. There are many flavors to choose from.“

“Cold stone is always delicious and this place is no exception, plus the store is clean and the staff have all been kind in my experience. I didn’t catch her name but there is one woman in particular who always seems happy and makes conversation when I come in and it feels nice. Only issue is the parking lot can be a pain.“
