“I've been getting my salads from Lake Deli for many years. I use to live in Medford now in Bohemia. It's over 45 minutes round trip but this is the only place that has the best salads I've tried other Delis. Just not the same. My sister loved them too whenever I went to Pennsylvania I had to bring 2 or more lbs.of potatoes“

“I've been addicted to their homemade macaroni salad since the late '90's at the Middle Island store. The Selden store is the same. Don't know how they make it but it's honestly, the best I ever had. I've told them, PLEASE do not change the formula or i'd have to go to Macaroni Salad rehab. lol“

Which by the way come with homemade ice tea, lemonade or oj, come to find out a very nice gentleman had come out from the back and said next time we come we need to try the empanadas! He had just made them and well we can’t say no to an empanada fresh made!!! Well let’s just say they barely made it to the car, had to go back in and let him know how good they were!! “Nice quick place to get food near the Ronkonkoma station! The kbbq is pretty good, I recommend having the rice on the side though. I really love the fresh drinks, it would be even better if it had Greek yogurt. I will definitely be coming back 😁“

A little confusing since Mastic Beach is Tj hero s and Patchogue is called Tj Hero II. Was disappointed that they dont honor the specials of the Original but live and learn.“
