“This was our first time here after hearing so many good things (and seeing peoples pictures of the food they ordered) EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT. From the Apps, to my Soup (Sausage Soup) & I had the Chicken Parm with Penne and she had Baked Zika with chicken. Our Hostess Toyyo was delightful and friendly as well as our server Larissa. Can’t wait to go back and try the pizzas“

“Absolutely wonderful experience! I took 12 employees out to celebrate the holiday season and see a show in Albany. From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly. I highly recommend, and will definitely be back when in the Albany area. (I may even have to make a special trip back just for this restaurant!)“

“I’ve been meaning to try this place for a long time and I’m very glad my boyfriend and I finally made it! Amazing service and our meals, the bolognese and Vitello alla 72, were delicious. The calamari was also crispy and tender. The best part was they accidentally brought a caprese salad to our table and let us enjoy it for free, very generous for such an insignificant “mistake.” Great prices and not too loud or chaotic in there like some places that try to fit in as many tables as possible. Will be returning!“

“Tonight I decided to take advantage of the Family Takeout Special at Cafe Calabria II, I worked all day and didn’t feel like cooking but also didn’t want fast food. Well, I made an excellent decision! The food was amazing, I opted for the Chicken Sorento and even my picky little ones devoured it; it was truly delicious! The eggplant and chicken were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They were both still warm and crispy despite being driven 25 minutes from the restaurant to my house and being covered it a mouth watering, savory marinara sauce and bubbly melted mozzarella. 😋 for the price, I couldn’t have made it cheaper myself at home. 10/10 recommend!“

Rachel was our server. She was very attentive even though she has a lot of tables. We didn’t have to wait or wonder when a drink would be refilled. Lunch on a Friday, and it was a PACKED house.
Was sticker shocked at the menu, specifically the prices for every selection. Very reasonable to the point of LOW. Especially for the entrees.
The Waitress was extremely helpful and friendly. Ordered the Veal Antonio, and it came with delicious spicy sausage soup and a side of pasta. The bread & butter, old school whipped butter and Hot fresh bread. Amazing.

The veal was outstanding. One of the best dishes we've had anywhere. Cannot recommend this enough to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience. “I heard amazing things about Marisa’s so we finally tried it for the first time. We were originally going to get slices, but when we first walked in, there was no place to sit and have a slice. We would’ve had to sit in our car. The kitchen staff were not friendly, looked pretty miserable and had an attitude when we asked questions. Maybe it was the heat. It was a pretty hot day, but we decided to go into the dining room and sat at a high top by the bar because the dining room was rather small and they had reservations. Not a problem. The food was excellent. The bartender who was the waitress was so nice and personable. She provided a great service. She was attentive and very timely. My husband and I both ordered our own personal pizza which was a good size, we ordered the homemade mozzarella sticks and I had a house salad. Love the food! It was great. Our bill came to $60. We did not have alcohol. I don’t mind spending money on good food. We will definitely return.“

“This is our go to pizza spot. I'm happy with all of their menu items, and the lemon ganettes are a lovely sweet treat too! It's convenient to have a second DeFazio's location so we don't have to drive to the original in Troy, and although their selection is pared down compared to the one in Troy, they still deliver with the flavor and quality. Be sure to check that they have the toppings you want because they often run out when they're busy. There can be a wait for ordering as well so plan accordingly! Parking is in short supply on this steeply sloped street, so this may be an issue. Overall, this is the place to go for pizza in Albany.“

“Very good place!! My only issue is my wife and I went there in the late afternoon and it was basically empty, between lunch and dinner and the place was excessively loud throughout the building. Even the soda machine was loud. You have to talk very loud just to place an order.“
