“Had an AMAZING brunch at Sunflower Cafe. Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! Our server, Cayla, was fabulous, every suggestion she made was on point and she was so friendly and attentive. Met the owner, who stopped by and chatted with us, this is a family run business and everything including the delicious desserts are made on premises. I can’t wait to go back for dinner, it is quite a ride for me but well worth the trip! This place will NOT disappoint!!“

“Great hidden find. But wait it's been there five years. Okay, maybe i'm at the fastest, in getting around.
But we were looking for something that had vegan, gluten, free food. Better Man Distilling came up. Passing by said, this is the place? Yes.
Inside, we were greeted to a very nostalgic eclectic combination of decorum that neat, clean and spacious.
A friendly server greeted us and nicely explained the variety of drinks and foods that were offered as well as his recommendations.
Ordering a number of these which were tweaked to our particular palate. They arrived and looked beautiful and tasted great.
The spinach and artichoke dip with the pita breads, was outstanding. A variety of drinks were hand created too perfection.
Please don't tell anyone because I don't want it to get too overcrowded.

“Very solid brewery with a bunch of great options. Probably had one of my now top 5 beers of all time here. I asked for a sample of a beer, but got a different one without having a sample of it. Went back up for a second beer but asked to sample a different before commiting to a full drink. I got told after that second sample I wasn't allowed any more. This was a first for me, because I feel like I'm usually reasonable with sample requests, so I was a bit taken back. I still got a third drink after that, but I was a little put off by being told I couldnt request any more samples. Pretty much every brewery I've gone to, I was always openly told to ask to try as many as I want before making a decision.“

“I have severe allergies and my nephew suggested Claws. I have to say Chris and Frank were excellent in educating me and helping me and going out of their way for me. Their seafood is fresh and delicious. I actually drive further to go to them and pass other seafood stores on my way, but they are definitely worth a trip. All of the staff is accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful.“

“We had a very nice meal here back in October. Our server, Shannon, was outstanding and took excellent care of us. The location is fantastic, sitting right on the water and made for a very pleasant meal. We had the calamari appetizer (very good), the Sauteed Flounder, which was okay and not worth $40, and the Gourmet Burger. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger. Since we came over on our boat, we weren't drinking, but the bar area looked pretty cool. We will come back again.“

“BEST TACOS ON THE NORTH SHORE. We stumbled into Ditch solely by chance and we are so happy we did. It’s a breath of fresh air for a rather stale Main Street in PJ. Very beachy vibes, feels more south shore LI than snobby north shore which is probably why I love it so much. The menu has a little bit of everything and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We ordered tacos, five different tacos so we could try a bit of everything. From the perfect corn tortilla to the pineapple toppings, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner Tracy came over to welcome us to his new spot and express his gratitude for giving the new spot a chance. Our server Brennan was working a busy lunch shift mostly solo and he still delivered a top notch experience. Very happy with our new discovery and we can’t wait to go back!“

I’m a stickler with banana flavored items and it is most definitely made with fresh bananas without any artificial flavors or colors. The owner was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. Last visit we had Kerri as our server and she really did great. We opted to sit in the back to avoid the Saturday night crowd. We were concerned the service might be slow because we were the only ones in the back but we were wrong. Kerri came back within the first 5 minutes to greet us and take our order, she was friendly and pleasant. Our drinks came back just a few short minutes later followed by our food shortly after. Kerri also came back pretty regularly to check on us. All in all, we had a great experience at Local Burger. If you want a good burger, I highly recommend you try it if you haven't already. Also, this is a small business so better to support them than the big, corporate chains that only care about money.“

“My husband and I tried Jackson Hall American Bar & Grille for the first time tonight. Place was very busy. Had a very nice vibe when walking in. Our server Danny was great! Very friendly. Checked on us several times. Had no problem making recommendations. Chef Michael came by several times as well. Was very friendly.We started out with Mussels in a lobster sauce with chunks of lobster. It was delicious! We then had the honey crab legs. They were so tasty. The crab was so meaty. There is no way you will leave this restaurant hungry. Portions are fantastic! We ended the night with cheesecake. It was the perfect ending to our meal. We will definitely be back to try more stuff on the menu!“

We were looking for something to take out and bring on a boat and Jersey Mike's subs definitely hit the spot! I was surprised to read some negative reviews because the workers there that day were extremely friendly & helpful. We got the #9 giant hero and a bag of chips (no onions/pickles), all the toppings including hot peppers ? and we had it on the rosemary parm bread . The sub was fresh and was delicious, much better than we expected. The perfect takeout food for beach, picnic or boat. This fed two adults for both lunch and dinner. For about $20. Definitely recommend!“
