“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “DubCo is an amazing brewery & one of our favorites on Long Island. Pairing with a great rotation of food trucks / vendors makes the experience and visit that much more enjoyable. Today they had Secret Vegan Kitchen and it was some of the best vegan food I've ever had. DubCo always has a range of different styles of beers, which makes it more attractive to anyone in a larger group, not just a bunch of IPAs here. They also dip into a lot of fun spinoff drinks like their Greaterade (coming in 5 different colors / flavors) and their hard seltzers / hard palmer. Always something new to try & their staff are amazing at recommendations & allowing you to try some of their taps. A+ brewery.“

The bao buns were the best I ever had, wings were crispy and delicious, and the sushi was to die for. You can tell they make everything here with love and use the highest quality ingredients. The menu is creative and I can’t wait to come back and try more of it. Lastly, the service was so friendly. The people here are down to earth and were so pleased to know we enjoyed the food. “Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“It’s Tuesday night I just left there speaking to Frank. My name is Thomas Kos. I’ve said this numerous times I believe since I moved to this area there’s no sense of even going anywhere else I’m a big pizza person the Sicilian in the regular or some of the best I’ve ever had the chicken bacon ranch is probably the best slice of pizza I ever had in my 56 years. The people are kind the workers are great it’s just no need to go anywhere else. Great deal on Tuesday and the slices are always huge, I’m shocked sometimes the size of a slice. Guys thank you for everything. Always great going in there.“

“genuinely some of the best sushi i’ve had and i’ve been to nobu. they give you a hot towel upon arrival, a complementary kani style salad & sliced orange at the end! that alone impressed me but the sushi is soo delicious and fresh. I tried the “tortilla” for an app which was something i’d never seen on a sushi menu before but it was delish! the spicy tuna roll had such good flavor- a classic. “My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
