I would put this food up against any other Italian food. Yes this place gets busy, but that’s because it’s a hot spot because of the awesome food. The restaurant is so nice inside, perfect for the atmosphere on the river. Come by vehicle or boat we done both. “I stopped into 241 Pizza in Gananoque recently and was honestly surprised by how good everything was. I ordered the meatball sub, the poutine, and the breadsticks with marinara, and each one was way better than I expected from a quick-serve place.

The meatball sub was the star for me — packed with meat, really well-seasoned, and covered in just the right amount of sauce and cheese. It tasted like something you’d get from an actual sandwich shop, not just a pizza place.

The poutine was also great: hot, fresh fries with real cheese curds and proper gravy. No soggy mess — everything held together and actually had flavour.

And the breadsticks with marinara were the perfect side. Soft inside, a little crisp on the outside, and the marinara was surprisingly rich and tangy.

“Pizza is excellent and far superior to any others in town. Shop is casual if not sparse and service seems to be better cooks than dealing with people. Big drawback is their cash only policy - though quaint, I'm sure is losing them alot of customers“

“Haven’t been here in a few years was pleasantly impressed compared to other restaurants we’ve dined in this week. Staff was friendly and attentive, bartender knew how to make a proper manhattan! Calamari was crispy and tasty as our app, I had the stacked eggplant - done perfectly and I guess I was hungry as I ate the whole plate , my fiancé had rigatoni with red sauce and meatballs; he liked it but we thought the pasta was a bit over cooked, bar area was quiet and a nice view of river and people walking by As for value .. it was okay but its pasta so could be a bit more reasonable“
