“Taco Tuesday is real real tasty , I love the pork and the shrimp tacos. the burgers are delicious , they cook them just the way you like them , onion rings yum yum , Thursdays is prime rib night … cooked to perfection, different sides to choose from , I always get the baked potatoe and the salad it comes with … is real good also , ya gotta try it. Oh I forgot Greg is a great bartender.“

“Finally got to Hook & Reel!! Great vibe, great food! We sat at the bar and enjoyed Danielle’s company. Rob, was an incredible insight to the short history of this restaurant and is wonderful. We chatted about the history of this type of venue in Middletown and how to survive. He gets it. While chatting, his head was on a swivel, watching his guests and crew. Rob spoke so highly about his crew, you would think they were family. I am so glad I went and enjoyed the family atmosphere. Well done team!!“

“Just had my best friend’s bachelorette weekend dinner here and it was phenomenal!! The food was great and the owner also covered our bill because of us celebrating her getting married which was so generous!! As “out of towners” from NJ we definitely had a great experience! “We had a fantastic experience! Victoria made the evening even more special. She was warm and friendly She explained the specials and offered suggestions! I really enjoyed the Cod with the artichokes!!

“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.“

“Had my sons 13 th birthday party last week with his friends and family service was great food was great definitely our go to restaurant. “Elegant dining room, and delicious food. Stopped in for my birthday lunch. The Caesar salad and eggplant were excellent! This is definitely an elevated dining experience at a mid-level price point. We will be back!“

“Its a great late night dinner spot. Food is really good! They DO NOT skimp out on the portion they give you, you will definitely have enough to share or eat for the next day. the place is clean, staff are nice and the menu is simple. Some places have a mixture of like, 25,000 options of food. This place keeps it simple. You go in, pick what you want and you're out. There's no loud music at the times I went.“

“I ordered 4 orders of the same dish. I checked my bag and they gave me only 2 orders. I go back and they said they put 2 orders on each dish. Sorry that's not what I ordered. I ordered 4 separate orders. I go back and they tell me, I should've stated that I wanted them in 4 separate containers. No I ordered 4. not 2. so no u should package it how I ordered them.“
