HIDDEN GEM! I recently discovered Gahwa, a hole in the wall with amazing authentic comfort Korean food. Their kimchi is perfectly sour, spicy, with a satisfying crunch. the Seolleongtang was creamy and savory. You season it yourself so the soup is seasoned to your taste and preference. AN ABSOLUTE HIDDEN GEM!! Gahwa is definitely a sparkling hidden gem here in Flushing, offering both authentic, top quality food with great service! I came here in a group of four and we shared 2 sul long tangs, a Japchae, and pa jun. The food portion sizes are really good, the pancake was huge, buttery, stuffed with seafood and crispy on the exterior.
