Love love love this place. This is my go to authentic Chinese food place in NYC. The food taste delicious, with very generous portions and great prices. I always come here with my Chinese friends, American friends, or foreigners. Everyone enjoys the food. The cuisine itself is close to Szechuan region style, spicy but nothing you can't handle. If you're into family style dining then you are in for a treat! Golden leaf sky delivers huge plates of traditional Szechuan cuisine. Bonus! If you want to feel like your eating in Beijing, trust me, you'll feel it here, it's loud and boisterous as men and women stand up and shout "Gan bei!" to each other, not once, but multitude of times as glasses can be heard clanking together as customers are hand carrying in bottles of "BYOW". I’m surprised by the reviews. I thought the food was really good especially the sour fish soup and the corn pancake that tasted like sugary donuts. I also like their cold noodles.
