“Solid breakfast burritos and great tortillas, which are like gold here. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet, but it’s just a matter of time - the salads look awesome. I moved here from Texas a year ago and love everything about the city (except for the rent), but I do miss Tex Mex and good tortillas. New Mexican is its own cuisine and sure hits the spot while also being healthier, and those tortillas are a game changer. So glad to have found this place, just had breakfast from here, and am already looking forward to going back.“

“This is a hole in the wall kind of space but I had an Al Pastor Burrito from here and I see why this place is 4.8 Stars as of this review. They put LOVE into their food. Ever since I went to Mexico City, I have HIGH STANDARDS for Mexican food and I have to say that this place ranks top 5 for me in the CITY. If you are ever around in the area, I highly recommend. I will be back!“

“Where do I start? The food was on point. The tacos have a hearty feel to them. They dont fall apart and the flavor melts in your mouth. The appetizers are all good. They all pair well with the drink selections. Signature drinks are well curated and thoughtful. The ambiance is bring a friend, a date, some friends and come have a good time. Hospitality is top notch and professional always. I would definitely be back for another night on the town. Thank my cousin for suggesting this place. Cantina 138 needs to be put on the map!

“We were in town for a wedding, and this was the place where they hosted a pre-wedding celebration. The atmosphere was exciting, and regardless of the large crowd, the servers did an amazing job. Everyone had such an amazing and memorable time.“

The mole veracruzano was different, unique and strong in flavor; unlike the mole I grew up eating. The mole enchiladas had plenty of shredded chicken. Very pleased with the service too. Would recommend, stop by!“

“My go-to jerk chicken taco spot. I have tried quite a few tasty options but the jerk chicken with the plantain is my favorite. I do wish Taco Tuesday lasted the entire day. Also, it gets tight inside when there are too many people waiting for their orders. Other than that, I have no complaints...“

“First time at Armandos and I really enjoyed their tortas and homemade horchata. Crunchy soft bread, good size and fresh. The lettuce was chopped which made it fall out but thats no issue- it left me feeling full and I got the tiramisu. Good balance on it and hit the spot for desert. “I went here and ordered nachos which consisted of homemade tortilla chips, melted with cheese, in a bed of black beans puree, topped with crema, guacamole and pico de gallo (and shrimps=one of the options to choose from) and I really loved it. At the time when I went there, They was only accepting Cash and Zelle, Zelle was the easy option for me to pay, the staff was very nice and helped me out with some of the food I was not to familiar with. The place is small but in a great spot for the neighborhood on the corner, This place has an ATM and seating inside with a TV to watch whatever is playing while you eat. I been back twice and I had the crispy taco bowl with steak and one with shrimp and the Birria tacos 🌮 very good“

“Experienced Tabu for the first time last night & was blown away. It was my best friend’s 33rd birthday and the service was outstanding. When we received our dinner they accidentally brought out an additional chicken enchilada, but the owner was very nice and said he wanted us to try the dish. We also had 2 rounds of complimentary shots and a free dessert. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful ambiance and delicious food. The food was very tasty and the fish was so fresh ! The server Nicolas was great !“
