Taste so good
I was very surprised to see all the bad reviews. Especially since Vanessa’s dumplings was in this same location serving significantly worse food and got better ratings.
I tried almost everything on the menu. The pork, beef, and lamb roujiamo are all very good. Not the best I’ve had but still solid. I give them a 8 out of 10

I usually order their mo, and it is great value and tasty.😋 cucumber salad is also refreshing!

Mr. Mo is a restaurant in the Forest Hills/Rego Park area. The prices are extremely fair and the food is solid. The pork, beef, and lamb roujiamo are all very good. The signature pork roujiamo is delicious, with a bun that is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and pork that is stewed to be tender and juicy. The perfect amount of lean meat to fat mix makes each bite melt in your mouth. The meat topped with Jalapeños wrapped in the flaky authentic bun absolutely slaps. The pulled meat buns (roujiamo 肉夹馍) taste just like the Xi'An ones. There is also a vegetarian version, which is delicious too. The crispy burger is the best, with meat that is super juicy and flavored to perfection in a wonderfully light and crispy bun. The dumplings are also very good. The soup dumplings were not bad, and the other dumplings are passable. The soup looked spicy at first, but it was surprisingly flavorful and delicious. The beef was incredibly tender, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The regan noodles (热干面) are delicious and al dente. Everything from the meat buns to the noodles are made from scratch in house. The iced milk tea is loved. The set meals, where you get a crispy burger with a noodle or a dumpling, are awesome and highly recommended.
