“We visited Thursday night to check out the trivia night that we heard so much about. We were promptly seated by Amy who suggested a certain spot to hear the questions from. We ordered some apps and some drinks. I stopped a fellow and asked if he was Dave, the owner. He said he was and chatted a bit. The food arrived and let me tell you the pretzel with beer cheese or whatever it is called screamed for a second order. Trivia was fun although I'd like to see a few less phones out. “My sister and I recently reserved the Glens Falls Tap Room for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party. We started planning over a year in advance and corresponded with Anne Barry and Torey. They were both amazing to deal with and made the planning process so seamless! Anne was beyond accommodating to any and all requests that we had. She even went as far as to block my parents from their facebook page so they would not see when Mean Max posted that they would be closed for a private party. Any questions we had were always answered thoroughly and promptly. There was a couple times where we stopped into the taproom and Torey was working. He was amazing in assisting us with any additional questions we had. We had a slide show on a usb cable that they happily projected on their wall in the taproom as well as on one of their tvs. The party went off without a hitch and we would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. Our bartender, Christa, was beyond amazing and so friendly with everyone. She was beyond helpful with anything and everything we needed and our guests adored her! Overall we can't express enough how much Mean Max made our event perfect and catered to everything we asked. They are amazing to work with and did everything they could to make our event a success!!! We highly recommend them whether you're looking to reserve for a private party or just go and visit their taproom and have some amazing beers!!! “ADK nachos were super good!! My husband got the steak and loved it. I did half a chicken with homemade bbq sauce, sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken and fries were soooo good. I found the Mac n cheese to be bland but I think that’s the style if you were to pile on something bbq flavored then it would have been better. On its own it wasn’t my taste but everything else was very good. Can’t wait to go back next trip to Lake George!“

From the start, Patty met most every request with a prompt response that was both positive and reassuring. “I have only dined at Rocco’s but one time, we didn’t have a reservation and they were able to seat the three of us which was very accommodating. It was a busy busy time since there was a game at the Civic Center across the street and every place was packed. The food was outstanding and I would recommend Rocco’s.“

It’s fresh roasted roast beef on a simple white roll with the option of yellow processed American cheese…the stuff kid dreams are made of! The potato nuggets are delightfully a little over cooked which gives it a little char flavor that not all may like, but is what I crave. Wash it all down with a crystal lite lemonade or red fruit punch. It’s processed, it’s not fancy, but it’s the foundation of many of my childhood memories. If you’re a snob, don’t eat here. If you can’t appreciate imperfection go somewhere else. If you want to veer from healthy food and have something you know isn’t good for you, it’s the perfect guilty pleasure. I hope this staple stays open in Queensbury so that the next generation will have the same simple pleasure.“

“Was in from outta town and was craving a NY style pizza shop. Looked this place up near by and was not disappointed. Loved the cheese pizza and wings. And this owner isn't greedy he still serves you celery and blue cheese with your wings. Loved that bc a lot of pizza shops stopped that years ago. He also did not hold back on that delicious cheese on the pizza pie. I can see why his pizza shop has been successful for 30-35yrs, I believe he said!? We will definitely be back next summer when in town.“

Although we've since relocated to North Carolina, we returned to the Glens Falls area for our son's wedding. At his and his fiancée’s suggestion, we reached out to Davidson Brothers Brewing to host the rehearsal dinner—and we’re so glad we did.

We first visited the brewery in late June and were blown away by the food and beer selection. Fast forward to this past weekend: the rehearsal dinner for over 60 guests was the perfect kickoff to the wedding festivities. Kerry and the entire team at Davidson Brothers were outstanding throughout the planning process. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made everything seamless.

The evening went off without a hitch, and we received countless compliments from guests about the venue choice. We couldn’t agree more—Davidson Brothers Brewing is a gem in the heart of Glens Falls. “We had heard the pizza was amazing, so when we finally had the chance to stop and get some we were so excited, only to end up disappointed. We ordered a white pizza. It had hardly any mozzarella on it and the cheese went no where near the crust as shown in the pictures. The crust tasted like a biscuit crust. In all honesty we ended up throwing it away. Left with the taste of extreme disappointment from our experience. To be clear, I can’t recommend this pizza at all!“

“I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni and a drink and it was only $8 you can't really beat that these days in this economy. The crust was perfect, firm, and crispy which is how I prefer it. Everything was well balanced. There wasn't to much cheese sauce or topping. The only downside of it all is they were a little on the cool side but they seemed pretty busy with making other orders so its understandable. Also I love how the owner responds to some of these reviews 😂“
