“My family wanted to try a new place for dinner this weekend and Jamesons was it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Our waitress Sarah was great...super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the French Onion soup (excellent) and Pretzel Sticks (ok) as appetizers. The French Onion soup ($12) was very delicious but the pretzel sticks ($12) we probably wouldnt order again. There were 2 Pretzels to the order which my wife and I thought was a little pricey for what they were. My 7 year old ordered the chicken fingers and fries which were better than I had expected them to be. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips ($25) - super tasty, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Reuben ($24) super yummy which was a special for the evening. My wife and I both agreed after sharing that both meals were excellent. Key Lime Pie and a cappuccino finshed us off both of which did not disappoint. Overall, food and presentation were top notch and the service was excellent ---Thanks again Sarah! My wife and I both felt it was a little pricey but we would definitely go back.“

“One of the best bars in Nassau. Great friendly staff, they make you feel like one of the crew quickly. Great drinks with a wide selection of Beam. As far as the food goes, there is not better place to get wings in the county. Wide range of heat and flavors, always made to perfection. Then of course there is the pizza that will beat most pizzerias round. They almost have a restaurant menu in a bar. There is not better place to watch any sports from horse racing to football and everything in between. The place has a lot of modern TVs so getting the game you want is pretty easy (just ask). Yes they do have WiFi as well. Highly recommend this bar.“

“Quaint little bar with great wing and drink specials on Wednesdays and has been a quintessential part of the Wantagh bar scene for about as long as I can remember and even before that. You can always count on friendly faces and cold drinks but definitely be prepared to bump some elbows when it gets busy because it gets tight! Plenty of parking both in the from and back of the bar.“

Liz is the best and was t there when I was there but these young kids bartenders needs to pay attention the older customers who will tip better if they are given better service . “Went for open mic night, so it got more crowded as the evening went on. The waitress assigned to our table took a long time to bring us a dessert menu, and after we asked another server, he told us they only had one option for dessert - couldn't our waitress have told us that, instead of telling us that she would get a dessert menu - that didn't even exist!? Then there was an even longer span of time getting our check to us. Perhaps these servers are tasked with more than they can handle, but when people dine out, there is an expectation of good, courteous, prompt service. I do not blame the wait staff, as they are just young people trying to earn some extra cash. The fault is with leadership being short sighted with the insufficient staff numbers, especially on a busy night. Come out - talk to the patrons, explain the wait, offer a discount if needed... Anything to prevent a negative review! Food was great - no issues there, but the taste did not erase the feeling about the poor service. I would come back, but please do better.“

“Nice atmosphere. All the games are on. Food is VERY good and safety precautions are taken. Plastic partitions between every bar stool and the tables are spaced far apart. Been there several times now and always felt safe and went home having enjoyed myself and my meal.“

“I ate several meals here over a 4 night stay. Breakfast is delicious and the burrito is out of this world. Dinners are great and I especially loved the seafood pasta. Nice casados as well. Had lunch everyday here and I always got the ceviche. Excellent! Guillermo is an amazing host and a great guy. Lara, his daughter was a great hostess as well. Loved this place and it made me feel at home.“

“This place has great food and service and has undergone some renovation recently,which gives the place a nice fresh look. You can't tell that the bar has been open for 65years as it barely looks a day over 30. They had good live music when we were there and I was also thrilled that they had quick draw lottery to play as I enjoyed the food. A definite gem of a pub. If I lived closer,I would likely frequent this establishment.

Parking: There's street parking for free that is limited and a parking lot with meters very close where it's .25 cents per 30 minutes with FREE parking on Sundays and holidays
