“Across the street from the Apollo and busy. 20 people can sit inside. The spice does not make you sweat but it’s a hot feeling! Medium is spicy enough even with 2 packets of honey and special sauce! You can share the slider entree with crinkle fries it’s so filling. Doesn’t come with a drink. The spice is curry-esque, even if you don’t like curry you will like this!“

“This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“

Their chicken sandwich is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. “The chicken pot pie, while not an actual pot pie but more of a soup, is delicious! The chicken is very tender without being mush and the flavor is fabulous. The ratatouille and garlic green beans as well as the lentil & pork belly soup were also quite enjoyable. Although the food is not heavy, it is quite filling. We can't wait to try out the rotisserie chicken lunch special and I'm sure Rotiss will be on our regular rotation.“

The chicken is juicy and crispy. One thing that I will not recommend is chicken wings. Very poor recipe. “Amazing time at Mokja! All the things on the menu are extremely tasty, not just the chicken and pizza. Some highlights were the spicy seafood cream pasta and the Brazilian churrasco bbq set. “Came in once last week and once yesterday, a bit later during the night. Since it was this late on a Sunday I didn’t expect the food to taste that fresh. Despite this, I still got my order tasting fresh and arriving quick (<5 mins) and could see workers diligently cleaning in the kitchen and a younger man wiping down all the tables, sweeping the floors and cleaning the bathroom. I had went inside the bathroom after he was done and it was spotless, something I would never expect to see from a fast food place. The manager was very nice and I could tell he’s trained his workers well. Will be coming agian.“

“This is THE best place for fried chicken. We've been coming here for years and this place never ever disappoints. I love my fried chicken and definitely know my fried chicken, especially Korean fried chicken and this place is legit.The key to eat their chicken in their store at its freshest and get their whole chicken with the spicy yang nyum sauce on the side. This way the skin stays crispy. You dip the chicken in the spicy and savory sauce right before you put all that goodness inside your mouth. Oh so delicious and heavenly! Their chicken is good even without any sauce and arrives pipping hot with loads of flavor and juice inside and extra crispy on the outside. And the best part, it is NOT greasy! You can literally eat like 10 pieces and not feel greased out like some other fried chicken.I cannot say anything about their pizza but remember I tried it before and didn't like it much. Stay with the fried chicken here folks!!!! Their garlic wings are also amazing and drenched in this amazing garlicky sauce!!Service is also on point and friendly. Prices is amazing! “The fried chicken tastes delicious and you actually get meat with your order. Not just fried bones with little to no meat like some places around there. You can taste the seasoning on the chicken and even the fries (I assume they cook it all in the same oil). It’s a staple in the neighborhood. They also sell other types of meats and sides like rice and beans, plantains, spaghetti, fish, you name it they have it! And it’s delicious too. Definitely going back whenever I’m around that area.“
