Old school Chinese food
There were such terrible reviews for a no nonsense Chinese takeout, I'd figure I give my two cents. Our usual place was closed so we gave this a try. The chicken with mixed vegetables and egg roll were good, as was the General Tso. Lo mein was a bit greasy but still hit the spot. The most critical review I have for their food is that it's a touch bland. I am a loyal customer to my other spot, but this is not bad in a pinch.
No-nonsense eatery in Fresh Meadows. Portions not what I'm used to, but shrinkflation is everywhere. My Beef and Broccoli was a bit light on the beef. I am glad it was not a heavy sauce. Veggies were fresh and crunchy. $10 lunch special, 50 cents more for the hot and sour. Would try other choices if given a chance.
